Is this a tick in the properties, perform as a program? Yes, I ticked.

If you use Linux, you should us this one: https://snowgem.org/downloads/snowgem-1.0.0-linux64.tar.gz

Could you give some images of your setting?

The version i386 of your laptop is not suitable for Linux wallet.

Windows wallet 1.0.1.
Can't seem to get past this point...

Please help...

Also, is there a block explorer available?

Thanks.

Did you try with the name: Snowgem? Upper case of the first character?

Yes, it's autocreated folder and there is no difference between cases, I tried. I don't know what am I doing wrong.

Please use the latest version here: https://snowgem.org/downloads/snowgem-1.0.1-windowsx64.zip

However, windows wallet has a bug that it can't sync after block 829 while Linux can.
At least, you can create a wallet to mine.

Thanks,
Txid.

For you, is too hard to creating a GUI wallet ?

Currently, we don't have enough time to add it.
In the future, it's one of the main thing we will do. Swing wallet is not support all the features of a normal QT wallet and it's the first condition for the future features.

I getaddress with "snowgem-cli.exe getnewaddress"... i got an address.. how can i see the balance of the wallet? i used getbalance, but dont work..thanks for reply

It'a appear right after the command. Start with s1.

Windows wallet 1.0.1.

We are working on it.

ubuntu 16.04 lts but version i386 since x64 is not put on my old laptop. created in the home folder .snowgem-params there threw 2 files from the large archive, created the folder .snowgem and in it snowgem.conf is empty. I open the terminal there I drag snowgemd and I get can not execute binary file: The error of a format of an executed file ... What I do not so Huh can that be set on ubuntu Huh

Did you set the execute permission for the wallet?

I just found my first block solo mining but it doesn't appear in my balance. Am I missing something?

In other words, how much is the block maturity? 100?

I've got snowgemd running with mining enabled.

how long does it take to see mining results using a cpu? will getunconfirmedbalance show mining progress?

Also is there a way to increase the default number of threads? I have access to a fairly fast server with 24 cores which will still be cpu mining, but will be a considerably higher sol rate than my laptop!

in your snowgem.conf

genproclimit=24

for 24 cores, if I recall correctly.

gen=1
genproclimit=-1
equihashsolver=tromp

you're little cpu is going up against over 1000 gpus.  you're not really going to get anything.  maybe .0001 snowgem.

Already tried this one - nothing have changed. Good for me - I have a buddy, who have created wallet address for me. I thought the reason is location of wallet and roaming folder on different disks, but it isn't. Will try something tomorrow.
Thanks for help anyway.

Funny I did the same thing for someone else. The future of mining.  Cool

By examining the debug.log in %appdata%\snowgem, I noticed that at block 829 the daemon starts banning all peers for "misbehaving" with the reason "BAN THRESHOLD EXCEEDED", including itself. So that might be a clue for devs why the windows wallet is stuck at that block.
