SnowGem Electrum wallet for Mac is not working for me. After opening it just closes itself without any error or something. What gives? I am on Sierra (10.12.6).

Hi, can anyone help me find a working exchange that I can buy and trade Snowgem ? The listed exchanges are not working . They won't let me verify email or not trading.
Thanks

there are 3 exchanges already. It's easy to create an account here.

I get this error here:
https://ibb.co/eq29NH

Edit: are you sure this will work somehow?

your database is corrupt, delete blocks, chainstate, database folder then open the wallet again

Ok thanks a lot!
I deleted my snowgem folder by accident but I saved my wallet file. Is that enough to recover everything? Wallet was not encrypted or so .. But I also haven#t saved any private keys ... Sad(

Edit: Wallet only syncs when it creates a new one and not when I copy my old wallet into the snowgem folder. 0 connections. Otherwise 1 connection.

let it fully sync first then put your old wallet.dat file to snowgem folder

Can't get my wallet to sync. 0 Connections. Is there a list with some nodes? If so why is it not in the first post in this thread?
Thanks a lot Smiley

There are 3 nodes already on the wallet.
If you need more, you can add these nodes to your conf file:

Code:

but thats all that people are asking for. we dont wanna come to your house for dinner or start facebook stalking. just names and roles in the project and perhaps previous projects if any

As we told, all information will be published with whitepaper. That's our choice.

you would like people to trust you but you dont want to put yourselves out to the public? no offence but that makes no sense at all.

It depens on you. Personal information about our life on twitter/facebook and other media must be protected. Nobody want to put their life on public. It's risky.

i understand its risky, but you have stated that the dev team will be revealed with the release of whitepaper, so what would change after whitepaper release? the dev team will then be public knowledge. so whats the difference? i'm not trying to give you a hard time, i'm simply doing my own research to look into every aspect of this i possibly can. as ive said i think the work done so far has been nothing short of phenomenal.

We'll not public personal information. We just publish all information about our work and our role in the team only. It's the different.

How is this different from ZenCash? (which is a well established coin that uses equihash and has paying masternodes, which they call secure nodes, but they're the same thing)
Is there anywhere that has info on the dev team?  Can't find any info on their website.
It's also concerning that there are only 65 commits on the github page and only 2 contributors, 1 of which is the snowgem account, so there's no link to other projects that dev has worked on.

Not saying this isn't a good project, but those are red flags in my experience.

Zencash does not use core base to do the reward, they use another way to track. We has the masternode system on the core and if you can read the code, you will understand more about the different.

ive asked on twitter and reddit about the dev team, and been ignored on both, looks like dev is doing the same here. dont get me wrong the work they are doing (especially if its a small team) is phenomenal but surely introducing yourself to the people you want to invest in your project is just basic courtesy.

We don't want to put our personal information to public. The team information will be put on website when the whitepaper is released.
