I agree. The price will only increase as we get closer to masternodes. There is insane upside here. $1 a coin is not farfetched at all. We would only need to be around a $20m marketcap for that to happen. I wouldn't be surprised if TRC exploded just like other masternode coins like DASH, PIVX, and CRW did a few months ago. Shit, take a look at ChainCoin (CHC)...

It's nice to see that clock still working hard for TRC. I also wish I had had some more TRC. At some point I owned around 200000, but many got lost in Cryptsy :/

I also think it will continue to grow in price the closer we get to the masternodes.  Nice little bump just happened!

nice come back. I will try to accumulate some. Looks like price will start to spike as the days become thinner to masternodes implementation. Just keep up the good work dev and team. 

Won't worth it. It's SHA256 coin so there're so many ASIC machines mining it.

There was a nice rise over the weekend.  I think the closer we get to the hard fork the more interested people will be.

always depend on what the dev will bring and how the supporters and investors react coming out from the new
progress but lets always be positive and wait for the big blast its been a long sleep but worth to wait.

It will rise (mining supply halve and potential software upgrade) but I'm not sure if it will rocket. It depends if there's enough requirement as the competition in the market is also high.

Someone did buy all of the coins from Crypsy's estate so those TRC are out there (like 2.5 million), but just not in their original hands.

What a pity that a solid amount of my coins remained on Cryptsy.
Now they would be very useful.

July 6th Terracoin Update - Limited

Like most cryptocurrancies Terracoin has a limited supply.

Terracoin has a total of 42,000,000 coins and we are almost at the half way mark of 21,000,000 coins.

Reward halving will happen in about a month, which means each TRC block reward will go down from 20 TRC to 10 TRC.  This has been planned since the beginning of TRC five years ago.

We should also have the testnet of DASH's masternode code running around the same time.

Two months after that the hard fork will happen.

The rewards per month after the hard fork will be:

30 blocks per hour * 24 hours * 30 days * 10 TRC per block = 216000 TRC generated per month.

The split after the hard fork will be:

45% miners/45% masternodes/10% decentalized governance
Each month miners will get 97,200 TRC
Each month masternodes will get 97,200 TRC
Decentralized governance will get 21,600 TRC

To run a masternodes you will need 10,000 TRC as collateral so there can only be 21 new masternodes per month if everyone sells all TRC block rewards that they get (which won't happen).

Currently between C-Cex and Cryptopia there is 597,000 TRC for sale which means there is only enough for 59 new masternodes.

Remember the 97,200 TRC is split between the number of masternodes so the early adopters get the largest payouts and have a higher weighted vote at the beginning.

All of this means that now is the time buy up 10,000 TRC so you can have a masternode.

Get enough TRC for a masternode now before it is too expensive!
