This coin name got from one strategy game where we can make money or that game copied this coin name?I really like this coin and it looks how some games are copy this name so it can become really popular with own development.

TRC won't staking like Proof of Stake coins, so it takes a little more effort then a POS coin.  You have to have exactly 10,000 TRC in a transaction in a wallet somewhere.  Your normal basic laptop can handle that part.
Then you also have to have access to a server, usually a VPS.  The VPS runs the actually masternode so that you can vote, etc.
We don't have a guide written yet for that but we will write one during the testnet phase.  Currently you can check out DASH's guide since it will be exactly the same.

The VPS service mentioned in that link is really affordable and you will be able to sell some of your rewards from hosting a masternode to pay for the VPS service.

I was thinking of becoming a stekee when the possibility is risen.

At the moment I´m trying to collect 10000 Terras quarter a way of the goal. Buying dips..

Can someone tell what kind of requirements for a laptop to be able to excellently be used as a node for Terracoin? Any need for a high end cpu for example.
+ I´d like to stake other coins aswell with the same laptop. Speaking in general does anyone have advise for me?

Update June 8th – Loop

After last weeks weekly update there have been a huge drive to get the word out that The Terracoin Foundation is actively updating TRC.
This has resulted in a huge jump in volume and price for TRC. There always will be some market correction, but I think the goal of seeing TRC in the top 100 of coinmarketcap isn’t far off considering the features* we are implementing.

We have a whole list** of things we are working on before the implementation happens, but I am focusing on getting someone to create these weekly updates as Youtube videos. Have anyone who is interested contact me.

We also need to spread the word as much as possible that TRC is getting the changes that it needs and we need to make sure no one is left out of the loop. Feel free to post on any of the following sites. I check each of them at least once a weekday and I know other TRC Foundation members also check these sites regularly.

Countdown till Testnet and Hardfork

We are approximately 7 weeks from an active testnet and approximately 15 weeks from the hard fork for the implement of DASH’s code.

There are over 2.5 million coins locked up in that address alone and will likely never be moved.

That is almost $1800 USD at the current price.  I would definitely see if you can cancel the withdrawal from Vircurex and see if you can pull it out in BTC.

Don't know why, but exchanges love me! )) But this has not helped to fulfill new year promises to add 4 or 5 exchanges, yet received only 3... let's See what else can be achieved until the end of the year! PS so far so lucky - maybe even BTC-E to write, suddenly not refuse good old client!

Yeah, the DNS seednode is broken in the Windows wallet.  All you have to do is manually add the nodes listed here:

I already fixed the code for the DNS seednode, but I have been having issues getting a new Windows wallet compiled.

Awesome!  I submitted it but they responded that they don't do that anymore.  Though some of those coins have been on there for months and months.  I submitted my free vote!

Have still some old TRC back from early 2013, so I thought I give it a try after I saw that there are other exchanges now beside dead vircurex.
I downloaded the actual wallet but I can find no block source to begin to sync.
I there an actual peers.dat somewhere?
