I'm not thetorcoin that is my business partner, he said he would reveal himself when the time is right. I can prove to you I was hired to do this project though and that he is a legit person. I will message him today to see if he will get on and reveal himself.
Also btw why the hell would I create a separate account and say that I myself hired myself? You trolls have zero logic. If I wanted to scam I'd just go under any random username like all these other coins do, I'm not, I'm going by my real name and I was legitly hired to create and maintain Torcoin. I was paid in the thousands to make it happen and maintain it. I have a lot of reasons to ensure this coin stays stable and gets on a good development path. Again I can't speak for the owner as he is his own person, but as far as I know he is a legit guy and has only done me right, he does also have a lot of resources to help TOR out. He put the premine into cold storage as well last time I spoke with him.
This coin has a lot of potential due to the branding, unfortunately those that don't see that will be hating when they see TOR in the top five.

I would say is the best exchange currently to purchase TOR, the volume is low, but it is the #1 exchange for TOR currently until we get on Poloniex or Bittrex.

Please read above and try the commands I recommended, a -L log.txt and posting your log as well as the command your using to connect would be helpful. Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date too. I would also try a different pool to see if you get different results.

Can someone give me instructions for solo mining. How many coins is present on network at this moment? For what will be used 10% premine? Who controlling those funds escrow or dev? How about signature campaign you can afford it with 10% premine? 
My partner has 1m TOR in cold storage and I have the other 200k TOR. I haven't decided on what bounties or giveaways I want to do yet with my portion, thinking of some really cool things though, so stay tuned on that

Try to use -k darkcoin or -k x11, also are you adding in -u youruser.yourworker and -p yourpassword?
Also try putting -L log.txt at the end of your mining command, and post your log file here, so I can help you further
