Good news.

I'm interested to watch the explorer after trex enables the wallet... there will be a couple big transactions I bet.

Btw, I got feedback from Bittrex - things are gonna happen. Wink

I was able to build the latest Triangles code from source and sync using the bootstrap.dat file you provided. (It did take a few restarts of the wallet after that to get all the way up to the current block, presumably because of bad peers, judging from what debug.log showed.)

Is there an up to date/active block explorer somewhere?

If youre looking for a possibility to dump your TRI generated by mining fees, you will have to wait until bittrex reopened the wallet.  Tongue

Perfect, I committed the missing file to the GitHub Repository.

Thanks and thanks (also for  building and uploading the wallet) Wink

There is a link to that in the bottom right of the overview tab. [look at the screenshot in the first post on this page]

The solution was trivial.
Full length explanation is:
I saw that you cleaned up the code and made some *.ico -files for the icons. However you deleted the old *.icns-file (icon for the mac application folder).
So yes it gave me an error that the *.icns-file is missing, but I thought it would work with the ico. Therefore I replaced the dependancy in the code (triangles-qt.pro) with the ico-file, but this didn't work. It only works with icns-files. So I toke the old icon (from the 3.x-Version), renamed it to triangles.icns, placed it in the folder src/qt/res/icons and voila it worked.

Here a screenshot of the fully synced MAC Wallet (also with two transactions to test it):

When I linked it statically with all the dependencies, I will upload it to Mega.

The compiled executable has no icon?

That should indeed be solvable if that's the case.... I'm happy that this is the only issue! Wink

Syncing should work right away, I don't see a reason why this could be different to the win wallet.

Edit: Regarding the icon problem: Did it give you any warning during compilation? Which one?

I would like to have a compiled Mac wallet first if possible. After that we should probably finally notify bittrex.

On the other hand....this is not mandatory. So if you want to go ahead....do it! I see no reason why you shouldn't. Cheesy
....
Could we bother you to compile the current wallet for Mac? If I remember correctly you compiled the last one, right? Wink

Yes, I compiled the last one.
Regarding the current version of the wallet, it works. However there was a problem in source, the current compiled wallet have NO icon (on Mac). Cheesy But this should be solvable.
Such that this is the only problem which I had with the code,  the wallet compiled right away and found some peers:

Later today I will give it a try to sync it completely.

I agree it would be nice if we had a mac wallet as well. I just think we need to get Trex opened back up quickly. They've been trying to de-list us for a while now but we are resilient!
The orange on black idea too, good colors.

I reconsidered and just sent richiela a PM.

Good night everyone! Wink

Thank you, I received them. Cool
However take care that I have a new TRI-addy in the signature. Cheesy

btw. the wallet is currently compiling on a Raspberry Pi. But this will last a few hours. If this works, I will post a tutorial on how to setup a stacking Pi.

the Cat-a-clysm.
So the Tri has been running all weekend... flawlessly, were all on the same fork, plenty of peers. Newest sources on github. Should we all message or tweet bittrex and have them update and open the wallet back up?? I know were all anxious to get the rest of our coins staking!

Thats interesting - I have some spare PI here. I wonder how long importing the bootstrap will take.... Smiley

Oh and as for the App: It looks great (as far as I can tell from the screenshots) they way it is! I am actually considering the orange-on-black as a theme for wallet redesign. But I would like to hear opinions on that too. Wink

Yes, commander. Wink
No, but seriously now.

Currently I already develop a mobile trading app. In the first intention it was for private usage, but maybe this can be combined with the TRI-Project.
As the app will be developed anyway, you (and the community) can propose suggestions how such a trading app (for more exchanges? / only for TRI-trading or also for other coins?) can affect the TRI-project in a positive way. I already have some ideas, but it is still nice to hear other opinions/suggestions. Wink

The current status of the app (after a rainy day) is this one:

I am impressed!!!
