Hi all thanks for all the support, and not killing the coin while I slept. I released new windows wallet last night, source code and I spent a lot of time coordinating with pools and exchanges to make sure there are no more problems
Please update your staking wallets if you have not done so already to the new stylized wallet.

It will be tonight or tomorrow morning at the very latest. I stayed up very late working on the fork and wallet last night so that's the reason for delay

how do you mean wont compile, i just compiled on linuxthe daemon or the qt gui?

EDIT: its a really easy fix
yup, you can change the update_spinner to gif format and download font from google
even easier to just change 'res/movies/update_spinner.gif' to 'res/movies/update_spinner.mng'

I installed the new wallet the Dev tweeted at around 1230 utc. This immediately resolved the problems the previous QT wallet had been having. It started staking within a few minutes and I then received 2 payments just minutes apart. The 'your weight' had come off the boil a bit as a result of the payments (I guess) but it was still staking happily. Went to bed about an hour later and at around 2030 utc this morning I checked to see if any further stake payments had been received overnight. Nothing further had come in and unfortunately the wallet had gone back to "Not staking as none of your coins are mature"!
Played around with it for a bit but it didn't look like it was ever going to be rectified, even after restarting the wallet. Eventually decided to reboot my machine (Win 8.1) and start the wallet up again. That seemed to do the trick and, although it initially had the 'coins not mature' message, after a few minutes it started staking again and within an hour I'd received another payment.
Has anyone else had this happen where the wallet's stopped staking? Does anyone know why that would happen and how to mitigate it?

wait to find a good exit point from tron. I dunno, seems like it doesn't want to take off. Am I wrong?
I think part of what is/was holding tron back today was the little wallet scare, and potential fork issues, or even the mention of. I realize they are nominal but there was an issue. It doesn't take much to test confidence especially this early in the game. It spooked me first thing this morning lol Give it time, of course that depends on how deep you are invested. Or sell off half if it will minimize your risk? very hard to call right now... but looking at the energy yesterday coming out of the Pow phase to now, it does make one Leary. Another question about staking: I got a block (yay) but now a big part of my wallet is in 'Stake' and only a small part is in 'Available'. And it seems that my weight only grows proportional to what's in 'Available'. Wouldn't this mean that it's better to run multiple wallets if your average time to staking a block is less than the time it takes to get the 120 confirmations?
