Anyone want a windows qt compiled from the git repo?

Careful downloading executables from strangers on the internet!
All I did was fix a few things so it would actually compile. There are a bunch of files included in the archive which you may or may not need as dependancies for Positron-qt.exe.

http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=35420993383428426931

If you stake with it, donations are welcome  Wink PKgbYbcHBcKNsrsKKV8vjBfq5UcW5VEo7J

Again, all I did was compile the latest code on the repo with a couple fixes applied to get it to build the Qt wallet. (just sayin' cause I don't want to be held responsible for network issues or anything due to the version update)

So are you inferring that this compile you've done rectifies the issue currently being experienced with the Windows wallet?

It should. It is built from the same code that, according to several pool admins (suchpool, suprnova) is what they updated to several hours ago. Apparantly bittrex as well according to suchpool admin.

EDIT: http://i.imgur.com/O2bFfT6.png is a screen shot of the wallet (I think it has a new design, don't remember if that was released or not).

It defaults to look for "positron.conf" (unless you specify something different using a command line option).

54BTC buys vs 9BTC sells on Trex

edit.
Half of my coins in the wallet are staking now btw

In the existing Win wallet we're waiting for the dev to fix?

What block are you on?

I received one 20 Tron stake payment earlier today prior to the fork. It's still immature at 105 confirmations. And All my balance is sitting in the "Stake:" status  but the wallet is continually 50+ blocks behind. Currently (as at 09:37 utc) it's at 3387 of 3439 blocks (whilst at the same time the PosiTron Block Explorer at http://45.33.72.95:3001/ is at 3447).

Not sure how you can be staking though as the arrow status icon down in the bottom right corner is grey on my wallet while ever it's in this condition.
Yeah i am staking in the "old" wallet. I am on block 3395
I got 20 Tron earlier also.

edit.
Just got 20 more Tron and now all my coins are staking.

sent 216 coins from suprnova to c-cex

suprnova or c-cex problem?

nice pic xD

not sure, suprnova had their wallet updated, dunno about c-cex

C-CEX is currently showing a status of "maintenance" for their Positron wallet.

There are clearly ongoing issues on the network over and above the Win wallet problem. The PosiTron Block Explorer at http://45.33.72.95:3001/ is now stuck on 3447 at this time whereas Bittrex is on 3476.

Suprnova for sure is updated, I believe C-Cex is probably on the old wallet still.

Your Coins will show up when they have updated

I'm still at block 3367, how do I get on the correct fork?

I don't think anyone knows at this stage. I'm on 3367 of 3417 too but this PosiTron Block Explorer http://45.33.72.95:3001/ says we're at 3433.

Looking in the debug.log file for the wallet there are (on my mine at least) hundreds of connection time-outs where the wallet's trying certain peers but they're not letting it connect.

Until we hear back from the dev we can't do too much about it I guess (unless there's a QT expert on here that can work out how to put appropriate addnode= or connect= commands into a positron.conf file to force the wallet to go to specific peers, but I have no idea whether that's even something that would resolve the issue).

For linux new wallets are out, for windows you'd have to wait until the dev releases the new versions.

bittrex and the pools are ok

Mehhh, I want to stake   Angry

I'm on the same fork as http://cryptobe.com/chain/PositronCoin
Guess you are too then.

Cryptobe on the wrong fork?

yes
