I honestly don't think it had very much to do with BTC rise, compared to the past.

I watched some coins unhit which made it seem like it was some whales or worse a network of whales taking in their profits, doing a little shakedown and a few went straight back up to new ATH while others were still 'hit by the rise in btc'
