It's a little involved to get a live number of the amount the network believes to be staking. Basically, it would be derived from the staking difficulty target, similar to Chain Power, described in the proof of power document a few messages above, over the last 10 or so staking blocks. It can be derived, and if you want to write a python script or something, we could help you. Otherwise, the proof of power doc is something that could give you a starting point. We will calculate and expose that number in an upcoming release, as a lot of people would like to have it easily available.

What proportion of vrsc are staking at any time,  how can we check that?

You probably just have to wait. The average return right now in staking is about 57+% annually, but it is statistical, like mining, and comes in 24 coin block rewards. That means 1100 coins should earn maybe 500-600 coins or so over the year, but it will be in 24 coin chunks.

You can calculate your expected luck (waiting time in days on average) and return with this spreadsheet, by downloading it and entering both the current block from the explorer and the amount you are staking with:

Hey. I wanted to try Staking. I uploaded Agama Wallet from site veruscoin.io

I chose Native Mode. I synchronized the blockchain.

I put about 1100 VRSC on my wallet.

It all works on Amazon VPS.

Mining Status:   False
Staking Status:  True

After 24 hours of operation, the balance of the wallet has not changed.

What am I doing wrong???

This VRSC wallet download that Z-cashParams is too big to have 1.57G, and synchronization is too slow, 12 hours to synchronize 0.058%, and only four nodes, dev, what else can synchronize faster?

The release we've been waiting for is here  Version 0.4.0f addresses all known issues with easy shielding of coinbases to any z-address, including Sapling, adds logic to handle staking during forks or reorgs more effectively, has a much nicer transaction display that shows stake transactions in a much more aesthetically pleasing way (thanks @michaeltoutjr !), enables setting your own maximum transparent and private transaction limits in Agama App config (careful, it can slow down to the point of being unusable with over a couple thousand). With this version, we hope and believe that we will all enjoy mining, staking, and catching cheaters on the Verus Coin Network more than with any previous release.
As mentioned before, this newer Verus Enhanced Agama wallet now also supports lite mode Bitcoin, Zcash (with Sapling), Litecoin, and Dash, as well as Komodo and most Komodo family coins by default as well. We have not yet integrated support for Pirate, which we intend to do in an upcoming version.
Thanks to everyone who helped make this release and the Sapling transition smooth for the network and community! Storing the wallet.dat somewhere is the best way. The HD seed only applies to Sapling addresses, so you'll want to save the whole wallet.

How to backup wallet in Agama app? Is it enough to store only wallet.dat file somewhere? Or there should be also seed or something like that?
