Time to start voting at https://www.cryptsy.com/coinvotes toooo Grin
And VGC got listed on http://CoinMarketCap.com!

Already there! Just trying to figure out how to make multiple votes since VGC on the voting page does not yet have a BTC address

Buy Cryptsypoints as you would any other coin. With points in your balance you can vote again. Each point spent equals 5 votes  Smiley

I wish I could but i have not completed a trade there. And I do not have any coins they trade. I guess they do not want new users to trade there.

Mintcoin votes needed!

So we are progressing well with the development and marketing of VegasCoin. A lot is being done, but one of the things that we still need more is exchanges!

We're in contact with various exchanges, but some of the better ones require votes to be able to be traded. So we have one favor to ask our fine and fast growing community, that is to help us gain the MintPal exchange.

So far Brandon personally has already sent 0.1 BTC and is planning to send more. Other users already sent up to 0.3BTC as well, so we are well on our way. Please help us with making vegascoin grow sky high!

See http://www.reddit.com/r/VegasCoin/comments/24hcjd/votes_needed_on_mintpal_exchange/ (Please help with upvotes!!) and http://vegascoin.co/mintpal-exchange-votes-wanted/ for more information

Please go to https://www.mintpal.com/voting and make your votes count so that Vegascoin can be traded there as well!

Does this coin occasionally empty your wallet leaving you shirtless, cold and alone in a damp Vegas alleyway filled with people who have suffered the same fate?

We could easily make that a VIP option if you want  Cheesy

Hi all,

I've been way more active on cryptocointalk, and not so much over here. Being the developer of Vegas coin, that was not a good idea. My bad, mea culpa, and I offer an appology to the community over here.

From today onwards, I'll be around here on a daily basis as well, just as I am available on cryptocointalk and IRC (freenode.net channel #vegascoin). If anybody has a wallet problem, please let me know!

Some quick solutions for wallet problems here:

1) Vegascoin made a change in wallets where from block 25000 and up, all blocks were processed using the Kimoto Gravity Well. If you have an old wallet, and you;re stuck on block 24999, and no new connections are made, the solution is simple: Download the new wallet from http://vegascoin.co/wallet-downloads/ and you'll be fine again!

2) Wallet is current version, but it seems not to be connecting. Check if you have your config file! ~/.vegascoin.conf on Linux, c:\users\sven\appdata\roaming\vegascoin on Windows. If you don't have that file, create it now, make sure that on Linux the file has 0600 permissions! Now, make sure that in the config file you have this line:

Code:
addnode=node.vegascoin.co

Once you have that, your wallet will connect!

What? its still not connecting? Please check if your firewall is not blocking the wallet! I have encountered more than a few people who were just being blocked by firewall / anti virus etc.

Have a great mining all, Vegas coin FTW!

But there is CasinoCoin already

But there is CasinoCoin already
 Huh

That s like saying on a litecoin thread or ant other altcoin with the same goals: "But there is Bitcoin already"
There are other casino's than the ones in Vegas, but there s only one Vegas.  Smiley

In short: It s about more than just the casino's.

I believe they're working on how to implement that as well.  Wink Cheesy
