To reset the Mac OS X block chain:

In Finder "Go to" ~/Library/Application Support and remove the Vanillacoin folder.

I am uploading new builds now. Please delete your old blockchain to prevent a crash.

Thank you for your support.

Just a few minutes on the linux build to complete.

Thank you for your support.

Thanks Dev.

Can you give me instructions on how to proceed with resetting the mac wallet when you have a chance?  Thank you.

Just a few minutes on the linux build to complete.

Let me explain a few of the details:

1. There was no code problem.
2. There was an unforeseen super-computer problem that drove the hash rate too high for average users.
3. This has caused me to invent a new Proof-of-Work algorithm that uses a difficulty range to make a fair distribution to no single miner.
4. If you do not get blocks try to use use a slower computer (the difficulty should guide you on what to use).

Thanks for your support.

If you make a new build, maybe you also change the tooltip for the tray icon Smiley Smiley
I was quite confused myself when I've seen "Libcoin" there.

Dafuq. This is annoying.
Who can garantee dev will not reset blockchain after few days?

Well he did say its a beta release. I guess he should have said testnet until it works then its realnet. I'm just going to assume we are in testnet.

I agree, there could have been better testing done prior to release

Then it should be in another section of forum. And then ANN completed altcoin here.

Be patient, I just invented a new algorithm that's never been tested before mid-stream release.

It will be soon. The biggest problem is my slow CPU's compiling windows code.

I will update shortly.

Thank you for your support.

Sorry Jookly, don't have a clue. Seems we are all a bit lost here...
More questions;
Do we need to delete wallet.dat too?
Do we need to download a new wallet?
