mogonzo and everyone in whitecoin is from chunkypools. they switched the whitecoin network to their control effectively centralizing the whole currency.

these are the same people who lost 2 million doge in feburary. see reddit

you are entrusting everything in their hands. and btw the new artwork and website is horrible. you all should dump as soon as you can. this is never going to the moon or any other planet except maybe uranus.

now you can never say u werent warned.

I tend to agree with this guy.

Looking at the reddit post, I thought they were very transparent, apologized and even got a lot of the doge back.   That's not a negative.  Mistakes happen and they fixed it and carried on.    They did it very professionally as well, not expecting 100% of the over-payments to be returned.

"They switched the whitecoin network to their control" is not exactly true.   The DNS Node is on chunkypools, but that does not allow them to control anything differently.  It needed to live somewhere.   I've confirmed with MintPal and Cryptsy that they asked for that.  They also confirmed that this was requested for added security.

As for the artwork and website, they are a work in progress.

Yeah, and plus, 2 million doge isn't really that much... There's like 76 trillion doge in existence.

I heard a 50btc pump is happening soon...

Did you meant 500? Mintpal alone has daily volume of > 100 BTC at these prices. Although, sell walls are thin now.

I cannot confirm, nor deny this.   I would like to confirm that denying this would be a confirmation of non-denial of any deniability in the confirmation.

If wallet is encrypted, how would I unencrypt it if I wanted? I'm not talking about unlocking.

I believe you just go back into Settings to do that, typing in the passphrase again.

Only option I have is to change passphrase, entering current password and nothing into 'new passphrase' won't let me click 'ok'.

Sadly, I haven't played with the wallet to answer that.  Does anyone else have any experience?

Can you hop into one of the IRC chats to ask?

NOT a good idea to associate with Asiacoin.

let the scamcoins die.

I never really checked out Asiacoin cause i was dancing on the tables too much during Whitecoin's PoW.
How is it a scam?  Did the dev leave?  Just like Satoshi did with his 1 million BTC?
A crypto-currency doesn't need a dev-team on top of the pyramid, it needs diversification.
Or is there any malware involved like dafuqcoin?

The dev hid a massive pre-mine in the source code which netted him about $140,000 at the expense of his dedicated community.

dont forget the whitecoin dev dumped his premine too. he still logs in and updates the thread too.

There is a very large difference in annoucning a 0.74% premine and dumping it and trying to hide a premine block that is 10 times the size of the entire supposed coin distribution and selling parts of it.

It's like comparing a guy getting caught selling a dime bag to a druglord in mexico.

The original whitecoin Dev DOES NOT update this thread

Thank you for catching that.   100% Correct!  The original Whitecoin dev is not a part of Whitecoin whatsoever.   He took his quick $$$ and ran off long ago with his small premine cashout, but mogonzo, the WhiteCoin Foundation and their volunteers (myself included) are running the coin now.

We're almost always (don't quote me) available in the IRC channels.  Feel free to stop by with any positive or negative comments.   I warn you, however, that normal users like yourself are also in the channels and may say negative remarks right back.  Smiley

We're a community and arguments and agreements are allowed.   Our goal is to be as transparent to you as possible, since we're all dealing with money here.  Trust is key and that is our priority.

OK, OK...  the moon is the priority.  You guys come in very very close 2nd!    Hopefully everyone here will be up 500% soon, while others scramble to join us.

has anyone got either the deposit or withdrawals to work with cryptsy?

I'm having the same problem. Can't withdraw WC from Cryptsy. I keep getting an "internal error" message

good to know I'm not the only one... hopefully the devs can reach out to cryptsy owner soon
