The staking seems to work in the new wallet, it is just a pity that they did not add the green arrow in the bottom right indicating your weight and the network weight.

POS Worked for me too, I had to type true at the end

Where do you see that POS is working?

In your wallet.  Did you download the new wallet yet and unlock it?

Coins need to be in your wallet for 48 hours first, before they start.  Be patient Smiley

ANNOUCEMENT FROM THE WHITECOIN TEAM

The WhiteCoin Team is Pleased to Announce the launch of our fundraising drive. Now that PoS has begun, we can show crypto what the WhiteCoin Community can really do.

We have received hundreds of requests for official donation addresses, and we're pleased to tell you that the transition team has agreed on a transparent and accountable system for maintaining the fund's finances.

Until our organization can be legally founded, Mogonzo has offered to operate these funds under the guidance of the transition team, and with community input. None of the funds in these addresses will be paid out without the agreement of the transition team, mogonzo, and the community.

We also couldn't be happier to tell you that Chunkypools.com/wc has pledged to further support the WhiteCoin foundation by donating 10-25% percent of its profits according to the Chunky Challenge. We don't want to steal all Chunky's thunder though, they'll post more details shortly.

The Foundation will be accepting donations in Whitecoin, Bitcoin, LiteCoin, and DogeCoin to start this process off. Please donate only to these official donations addresses, there is only one per currency.

WC: WdPskLzGkjXkSns3BgkRF5fW5SveTBS7tR

BTC: 1JN9kVvm1zxgYh3Ki1JNsPFPhcE5FfoyeR

DOGE: D9n7o15LGaJy54gsQtqfgP8MwRCxC7FeCn

LTC: LU7P6BgqPDo1eHzqm2GmPw34HMJVoEe5DV

Please donate to help pay the developers who saved this currency. But most importantly, encourage others to do the same. Tell us how much you donated. Spread the good word on bitcointalk, IRC, twitter, and anywhere else you can think of...

Because this is just the beginning

Best Regards

The WhiteCoin Foundation

Until we have a more complete special thanks post, we must offer our sincere gratitude to: CryptoWest & Mindfox for their dedication to this project and making the wallet happen.

i sent 1900 WC to WdPskLzGkjXkSns3BgkRF5fW5SveTBS7tR. i'll add more donation...
thanks

Help a Noob please....

Trying to unlock my wallet so it stakes.

I go into help, console, Type "walletpassphrase Mypassphrase 99999999 true, then press enter. Then I get:

Error: Error parsing JSON:me

What am I doing wrong please.

I am not sure but try not to add "true" there. Or your passphrase is wrong. I am also a noob  Grin

Replace the the 'mypassphrase' with your wallet password and it should work.

you also have " prefixed to walletpassphrase remove that if you typed that

When I type it in I don't use ", I also use my own personal password, tried it with and without using "True" and still get: Error: Error parsing JSON:me
Same happens on my other WC wallet on my laptop, I'm clearly doing something wrong

Try:

walletpassphrase "yourpassword" 99999999 true

try both with and without the "

Many thanks, all it needed was the speech marks either side of the password ""

Unlocking with "true" should unlock the wallet for minting only.
The thing is: the wallet is completely unlocked even if you type "walletpassphrase [yourPass] 99999999 true".
So be careful, because your WC can be transferred in that state without request for passphrase...
I tried it only with an address that belongs to the same wallet.
So it might be different when trying to send to foreign addresses, but I wanted to tell you about that finding as it might be security related.

[edit]
I tried it with a foreign address - works as well. No password is required for transferring WC after "walletpassphrase [yourPass] 99999999 true" has been issued. That looks like a bug. At least it is unexpected behaviour...

I know i'm not putting no WC back to wallet even if POS is working, i saw what happend when mintpal canceled WC and AC trading, so if shit hits the fan i know i'm out. And i watched when WC was 2.5k and i watched when AC was 2.5, but was to greedy to sell them.

Where are all the hater trolls now! Oh they're gone!

Deciding if they should get back on the train or not.

White coin will reign supreme!

Haha, I noticed they all disappeared too, especially after half of them were saying to sell Whitecoin and buy Asiacoin because it was going to win.

Depth chart is bout as good as it gets, buy walls are starting to stack up, and should be back to 800+ soon.  We have to work through all these rats that got in at 650 and want to sell for 10% profit first though.
