can someone give me an idea of how much WC will be mind in a day with 2.6kh? I cant find active miners on the multipool! would be appreciated! currently on waffle and using the btc to buy wc but hoping multipool will produce more

Well chunky is mining doge, so, 2.3mh for myself should produce 4700 doge x .00000107 =.005 btc per day divided by .00001200(WC)= 416 WC. Thinking about jumping ship and mining altcoins by myself then selling coins and buying WC, I personally hate doge.

ya need to find out what coin waffle is mining for your WC.

edit: wc is @ 1400 satoshis so ya get less if they bought here. 357 WC.

its mining doge hahaha I bought in enough earlier today to make a decent profit later so ill just keep mining away on waffle and collect btc and wait for the dump

p.s thanks appreciate the help Smiley

You need to mine on whitecoinpool or hashcows and select payout in WC

Hello I've tried this procedure for staking:

You need to unlock the wallet, not un-encrypt it. Here are the instructions to unlock your wallet for staking while keeping it secure and encrypted

To start Staking whilst retaining the security of your wallet, go Help>Debug Window. Now select the Console tab.

Type the following at the bottom: walletpassphrase YourPassphrase 9999999 true

Replace the YourPassphrase with your own passphrase. (the encryption password you added earlier on) The 9999999 relates to the amount of seconds that you wish to leave the wallet open for staking. Once you have added this hit Enter.

It's not working for me..i keep getting this code:

Error: The wallet passphrase entered was incorrect. (code -14)

What's the chance that scryptominers will actually pay back the WC that was lost?

@halofirebtc
so if no one is mining thru PoW, where would those 9k/day coins end up? If we had zero hashrate, i mean.

this will continue indefinitely check main.cpp in the source..  And people mine for transaction fees on pos even if there no reward so we'll just have a few extra miners I guess.

wc has been taking those waffle pool dumps to the face like a boss tbh

I'm amazed! They have under 500k left. And the price is still where it was around 8 hours ago.

Its stood up well.

I just noticed we can still mine PoW, block rewards are 10 WC. Dedicatedpools show blocks still being found and paid for. Sup with that?

looked at code, important parts...

int64 nSubsidy = 30000 * COIN;
static const int CUTOFF_HEIGHT = 10000;
static const int64 nMinSubsidy = 10 * COIN;
else if(nHeight > CUTOFF_HEIGHT)
   {
      return nMinSubsidy + nFees;     >

this can be good an extra set to secure the coin

that's an additional 9k coins per day, 3 million coins per year. how long will this continue?
