Well, not necessarily, it depends how the surveillance of the people will be in the future with 4g/5g. Wifi hotspots could help solve that problem.

What happens to the signups of day one that are too late? Do they have the chance to rollover in the second day or will they just be cancelled?

In The big citys around The world, especially in USA i think this Will work great. Any app, that makes our life more Easy is great. I have a suggestion, i do get this would be really hard thou. IF you do get big, you could Try to make a funktion to automatiskt and seemlessly switxh between different wic networks. Basically, the user newer notice the change, you just float true a lot of networks while moving in a city
That is a nice idea but the problem will that will be that different uploaders will have different prices set for their networks and we cannot automate the buying process. We will need permission from the buyer for that.
But if the user sets a max number what he want to pay(per min or mb or whatever) and then automatically connects with the closest or cheapest one in reach? Then the user have gave his permission all ready? Would that work?
