Hello Everyone. I'm a new investor who initiated to buy some tokens. I just wanted to see if someone can help me answer a basic question. Does the address I'm going to be sending ETH from need to be ERC20 compatible or just the receive address? In other words, can I send my payment through Coinbase? I've set up MetaMask for receiving already. Thanks!

yes you can send from coinbase or any wallet for that matter. only receiving address matter and has to be erc20

That is a challenge for any new disruptive business. The market share that broadband companies will lose due to WiC will obviously hurt them. But there is not much that can be done to stop us since it is people sharing their existing WiFi with others for tokens (technically not currency). Also, if you look at Uber or Airbnb, there were similar concerns regarding those too but we all know what the end result was Smiley

You're right!, WIC possesses a novel business model that gives opportunities to ordinary people and not to the big telecommunications companies who reaped huge profits from its customers. Goodluck and more power Smiley

Weekly shares updated for participants upto August 22. If you are in red, it means you did not complete the requirements for the bounty (most common reasons are you did not pin our tweet or had a ton of sock puppet accounts). If you feel that is a mistake, please PM me.

Thanks!

In many places the Internet is difficult to access. Does it make sense to recruit organizations that will be involved in the installation of WIFI places?

We use existing WiFi connections so you do not need any special installations to use our app.

Well, you can provide WiFi even from satellite connections. Or even 3G connections.

Are you already in talks with any brick and mortar store chains to distribute the reloadable cards?

Cannot comment on anything that is not done yet  Smiley No need to create hype!  Wink

I also think so. Also it's free advertising when placed on brick and mortar shops Smiley

hi,

i have a noob question!

how the nooby user who don't know what's cryptocurrency. how can he is getting WIC to pay connection?
That's the job of WIC, to make the coin popular.

anasso has a point I think... I know I'm a newbie here but not too new to crypto world.  I've invested a great deal in stage 1 and I believe in this project highly, but as to the WiFi sharing.  As anasso stated, basically if a user has no wic or doesnt know about crypto they wouldnt be able to get the shared wifi.  How would they be able to add WiC to their account or whatever, is their only way is to buy it on livecoin?

Hey, we have thought about this and understand that the majority of the people either do not know about crypto or do not want to get involved with it for various reasons. To solve this issue we will be taking several steps to make WiC purchases easy for the average user. Some of the major ones are as below (sourced from the whitepaper):

WiC/Local currency exchange – Another planned feature, aimed at making the end user experience smooth and hassle free is enabling the ability to buy WiC directly from the app using traditional payment methods like debit/credit cards and net banking. The main purpose of this is to make it easy for those users who do not want to get involved with crypto currencies in any way and just want access to cheap and reliable WiFi.

Another thing we intend to do is have WiC reloadable cards available at gas stations and retail convenience stores, so that people even without the knowledge of crypto currencies will be able to use our app without issues. How this will work is similar to how reloadable gift cards work. Users will have the option to use their local currency at local outlets that will give them pre-loaded unscratched WiC cards with private keys that can be used to load the purchased balance in to the CryptoWi app. This way we eliminate the need for the end user to know how crypto currencies work and make WiFi sharing easy and hassle free.

thanks, your response answer to my question. i think the reloadable cards is most practical. the use enter the code and his WIC balance is updated.

Reloadable cards are indeed a very feasible way of distributing WIC.

I am very glad that WIFI applications are very popular. There are few places to use free Wifi.I think it is necessary to enter a discount for the average user of the application.
