You probably have already noticed, but there has been some great progress on the wXCASH development.

First of all, the secured smart contract for wXCASH has been deployed to ETH mainnet.

Now that this is done, there is still some remaining tasks that was waiting for this crucial step before we can officially release:

• We are mapping the ERC20 token to the Matic mainnet network. (We have already sent the request to the Matic mapper).
• We are updating the X-Bank backend and synchronising a Matic block validator node.
• Sanity check of the swap function on the X-Bank (the one we have thoroughly tested so far).

As these tests are done on the mainnet with real XCASH, they will still be closed to the public. We have already done extensive testing on this part though, so it should go pretty fast.

As you can see, there isn't much more to do for the release. When all tasks above are done, we will close the test, announce the launch date so everyone can prepare (it will probably be a week after the test).

We are now really close to the release, and we can't wait to see the wXCASH on the Matic network and for you to use it.

well switching to POS didnt kill the project lol,Xcash just evolve , Soon many POW project will also switch to POS, trust me

WXCASH Update

Hello @everyone, hope you are having a good Wednesday morning !

We wanted to give you a quick update on the WXCASH beta-testing. Several issues were corrected and backend development were integrated.
During the past week, we have assessed the different basic functionalities of the X-Bank with the WXCASH, most notably the swap feature.

The swap feature enables you to swap your XCASH to WXCASH, instantaneously, and for free, back and forth.
The swap feature is done within the X-Bank, and acts like an X-Bank off-chain transfer.
Once you have WXCASH in your X-Bank account, you can freely withdraw it to a valid ERC20 address, easily.

What are the next steps for the test?

• We are moving the contract test from Ropsten to Mumbai (MATIC/polygon testnet) to replicate the current series of tests and making sure that everything is working as intended
• Upgrading the X-Bank frontend and landing page to better reflect the current project status.
• Provide a security audit for the WXCASH smart contract.

All in all, everything is working perfectly and we are happy with the current results.
I would like to remind, this testing phase is mandatory and really important.
We need to shed light on the issues that could translate into a bug and results with a loss of your funds.

Great... This is really good news, following the new tier 1 exchange listing after the release.

Start of wXCASH internal beta

Hello everyone, hope you are doing okay today !

Today, and thanks to the amazing work of @Denis , we are starting the internal beta for the wXCASH swap on the X-Bank!
With a selection of contributors we have several things to test and assess:
- The swap performs correctly
- The additional features on the X-bank works
- We can safely withdraw our wXCASH to ETH testnet (Rostpen)

In parallel, we will improve the X-bank front end and update the information displayed (goodbye airdrop timer:wave:)

We will additionally start to write the documentation and tutorial to use the swap feature and use your wXCASH in a safe manner.

Why is the beta not public ?
Please be minded, the beta will be closed to the team, because we need to verify the security before giving you the possibility to trust us with your XCASH. The X-Bank being hack-free since the beginning, we are confident with the results of the beta and we believe that a release will soon follow the beta stage.

Hotbit Hacked (funds are safe)

Hello everyone, according to their support, Hotbit has been attacked. Only their account system seems to have been breached, and their wallet is safe (according to them).

As explained, password and 2FA are stored as hash, so your access info are safe, but a good measure is to change your passwords if you are using the same on another platform.

Remember, all platforms are prone to attacks. Never keep the majority of your funds on an exchange. Keep your fund in cold storage.

Today, we would like to officially release an early access of the X-Cash GUI Wallet and put it in your hands!

This first version of the GUI wallet will enable you to create or restore and existing wallet, and vote to a delegate, as well as monitoring your vote.

Why is it early access?
As it is, the GUI wallet is functional but far from being finished, and is missing some mandatory features to be completely operational. You will find bugs, and will find that there is a lot of UX improvements to be made.
These features and improvements will be listed in the desktop-wallet repository, and we will assign bounties to each of them. The wallet being developed in JS using the Angular framework, some of these features will be an easy entry into contribution for people willing to learn about coding. We want to give you the means to contribute to the project.
