My interpretation of the situation is this:
All cryptocurrencies are traded with BTC, when BTC drops against USD, so does alt-coins drop against USD. When BTC is going up against USD, that means money is pouring into BTC and daily traders/bots sell XAUR so they profit on uprising BTC trend. When the BTC trend ends, they buy XAUR once again.

Pump and dump. Now it's the dumping going on. Xaurum team made a lot of "value" for themselves but they forgot about investors.

Community guys. Xaurum needs to get the community. In order to get the community you need to spend money!!!

Those comparison of coins that somebody posted is ridicilious. There was a bullish market and xaur didnt move, they did. Xauru ATH was like 6 months ago. Not even a bullish market is helping Xaurum you know whau? Becouse there is no community.

I be that if Xaurum opens a telegram chanel, there wont be 500 people on it. Those meetings and trying to get people into this business is not getting community to invest.

They need to aproach this thing totally differently.

I understand that ROI from RICO is still 2x5. But for NEW people how can only see ROI go down for tha past 6 months, how is xaurum better investment that goldomoney?

And why would i invest in XAURUM and not BTC for example...  back when RICO happened price of BTC was 700$...

Since recently there have been a lot of questions relating to the Xaurum project, especially in various forums, it seemed important to highlight the most important facts. I hope that my information is clear and that this post will further contribute to an even greater public awareness of Xaurum.

We are not an investment company

We would like to point out that buying XAUR or any other cryptocurenncy is not an investment but is a purchase. You buy a currency; you do not invest in it. It is a simple exchange from EUR (or any other FIAT currency) to XAUR. Individual owns XAUR like they owned EUR before, so it should be obvious that we do not manage anybody’s money, but people do it for themselves. We are not an investment company that invests money on behalf of their clients who, in return, share in the profits and losses. We offer a currency, similar like Switzerald offers CHF or Croatia HRK… Xaurums goal is to become highly usable and useful money of the future, but it is no secret that many people see currencies as an investment opportunity although that is not their main purpose.

One of the most stable coins

Xaurum is uniquely special because it proposes solutions to the problems of different types of money. It solves the problem of the gold standard currencies, by creating an elastic gold based currency, in the way that its price depends both on demand and the value of gold reserves. So even if we would like to affect the market price in the way some of you imagine we should do, it is impossible. The same goes for some of the most prominent cryptocurenncies in the world. As you can see everyone was hit by situation on the market, Xaurum was no exception; however we are proud that in the recent market correction Xaurum was one of the most stable coins.

Changing FIAT to Gold

In exchange for FIAT each costumer got XAUR and for majority of the same amount of FIAT GOLD was bought. So, mony is IN GOLD. The community asked for the proof of gold and we delivered it in any possible way including with the live audit of the gold and even the video of the reserves.

If person buys XAUR via masternode at the market price, the transaction is similar like you would buy it on exchange. You pay the fee for the service and all the other money is exchanged.

We are always striving for our customers to get the most value for the money they are prepared to spend on the purchase and one of the biggest proofs is that Xaurum project has no premine. So that no future client will pay for the tokens that were “printed” for free for the team or for anyone or anything.

What no premine means? It means that all funds gathered were spent in this way:

I only used this data to illustrate the current situation, not to evaluate other great Slovenian projects, but just to show the market reality at the moment.

Minting Strategy
 
 As you know, Xaurum has two different prices and of course the value in gold. One price is market price and second is production price. When there is a huge gap between market and production price it is impossible to sell XAUR for 0,315 USD if people can get it for half less or even more on the exchanges.
 
 If there are no XAUR sold at the production price, there can be no mints. When the price rose higher at the beginning of the summer of 2017 we encountered huge sell pressure on the market from people who bought XAUR at the beginning of the project because they already made great profits, at the same time the negative campaign on forums got new worst dimension and the gap between production price and market price become to big.
 
 In order to close this gap we decided to enable our clients to get XAUR at the market price via market orders. When client bought XAUR via market order, we exchanged their FIAT to BTC (not gold) and buy XAUR from the market for them. At the same time we were opening new markets abroad. We were successful on both parts. Via market orders Masternode team sold more than 35. 000.000 XAUR (roughly 5.000.000 EUR), the price was rising and actually even hit the production price few times. While we were still listed on Bittrex trading volume has gone up immensely, we were on the way to change sell pressure into buy pressure.
 
 We hit the obstacle with Bittrex and US regulatory changes, the problems with money transfers from other continents to Europe didn’t help us either. So we have worked even harder to overcome this obstacles, luckily XAUR doesn’t have constant inflation, so we believe that we managed to pull trough and sell orders are running out, which is also shown in lower daily trading volume.
 
 Positive trends
 
 We estimate that approximately 90% of people who wanted to sell XAUR already did that. On the other hand we are just on the verge of opening new payment gateways that will enable constant money flow from abroad. The amount of this fresh funds will be bigger than the one of sell orders, which will finally close the gap, and enable us to sell XAUR at the production price and consequently start minting.
 
 Unfortunately we don’t have a magic wand for mints to happen, that is why we have to rely on the hard work. It is what we do best and I must point out that abroad and among our business associates atmosphere regarding the project is amazing.

Expanding the business

The Xaurum project is moving rapidly forward. Just few months ago 95% of XAUR were in the hands of people living in Slovenia or Croatia, but today distribution is much better and 70% of the tokes are in hands from all over the world. Due to the redistribution the price is lower than any of us would want, but we are doing everything to change that with accumulation of new gold. Like we stated before, we opened two large markets Australia and Brazil where we encountered troubles with money transfers, and we are working hard to make it work inside all the legal parameters which takes some time.

Maybe just a final thought.

We should all be aware that market price is not the only indicator of how much work has been done on the project in last months. There has been a huge step forward in building project’s infrastructure, from contracts to legal documents, new companies, new business partners… Xaurum project is not just an ETH address where funds are collected, we are handling real FIAT transfers from continent to continent, purchasing of physical gold, communication with institutions and more. Like I said we encountered some challenges and we are close to overcome them. And when this is finalised the result of hard work will show also in the most important (Gold) and obvious (market price) parameter. No hype, just Gold

I am aware that people don’t purchase XAUR because they think the team is nice, but because they want to enrich their money. I also understand that people can be mad and angry if their expectations are not met, especially if they were watching crypto exploding in the last quarter of 2017 and felt that Xaurum should be exploding the way other did. But as it clear for many people now, it was mostly just fake hype and millions paid the price just a month, two or three later. Xaurum will never be based on fake hype, because we found the best base already. Gold.

Zaradi številnih vprašanj v zvezi s projektom Xaurum, zlasti na različnih forumih, se mi zdi, da je pomembno izpostaviti nekaj pomembnih dejstev. Upam, da so moji poudarki jasni in da bo to dodatno prispevalo k še večji ozaveščenosti javnosti o Xaurumu.

Nismo investicijska družba

Želim poudariti, da nakup xauruma ali katerekoli druge kripto valute ni naložba, ampak je nakup. Kupujete valuto, ne vlagate vanjo. To je preprosta zamenjava iz EUR (ali katere koli druge valute FIAT) v XAUR. Posameznik ima v lasti XAUR, kot je imel prej v lasti EUR, zato bi moralo biti očitno, da ne upravljamo z nikogaršnjim denarjem, temveč ljudje to počnejo sami. Kot lahko vidite, so razmere na trgu prizadele vse, tudi xaurum ni bil izjema; vendar smo ponosni, da je bil v nedavnem popravku trga Xaurum eden izmed najbolj stabilnih kovancev.

Spreminjanje FIAT valut v zlato

V zameno za FIAT valuto je vsak kupec dobil XAUR, denar pa je šel v nakup fizičnega zlata. Denar je torej V ZLATU. Skupnost je zahtevala dokazila o zlatu, ki smo jih objavili na različne načine, vključno z redno objavo zalog zlata (audit) in celo videoposnetkom rezerv.

Če nekdo kupi XAUR prek masternoda po tržni ceni, je transakcija podobna, kot bi ga kupili na borzi. Plačate pristojbino za storitev in ves drug denar zamenjate.

V našem podjetju ne najdete nikogar z redno plačo. Ne pozabite 0% za plače ekipe ;-)

Soočenje z realnostjo

Ja, Slovenija je ena od najuspešnejših držav v kripto svetu in ponosni smo, da smo obkroženi s tako izjemnimi misleci in podjetniki. Veliko je uspešnih slovenskih kripto projektov in nobeden nima nadzora nad tržno ceno. Poglejmo, kako je trg vplival na slovenske projekte, če primerjamo ceno ICO z današnjo ceno (USD).

Te podatke sem uporabil le za ponazoritev trenutnih razmer, ne za ocenjevanje drugih pomembnih slovenskih projektov, ampak samo za prikaz tržne realnosti v tem trenutku.

Strategija mintanja

Kot veste, ima xaurum dve različni ceni in seveda vrednost v zlatu. Prva cena je tržna cena in druga je produkcijska cena. Kadar obstaja velika razlika med tržno in produkcijsko ceno, ni mogoče prodati XAUR za 0,315 USD (produkcijska cena), če ga kupci lahko dobijo za pol manj ali še več na borzah.

Če ni prodanih XAUR po proizvodni ceni, ne more biti mintanja. Ko se je cena na začetku poletja leta 2017 povišala, smo na trgu naleteli na ogromen prodajni pritisk s strani tistih, ki so na začetku projekta kupili XAUR, ker so že dosegli velik dobiček, hkrati pa je negativna kampanja na forumih dosegla največjo razsežnost in razlika med proizvodno ceno in tržno ceno je postala prevelika.

Da bi to vrzel odpravili, smo se odločili, da našim strankam omogočimo nakup XAUR po tržni ceni prek naročil na borzi. Ko je kupec kupil XAUR prek tržnega naročila, smo njegovo FIAT valuto zamenjali za BTC (ne zlato) in zanj kupili XAUR na borzi. Istočasno smo odpirali nove trge v tujini. Na obeh področjih smo bili uspešni. Prek tržnih naročil je ekipa Masternode prodala več kot 35.000.000 XAUR (približno 5.000.000 EUR), cena se je zvišala in dejansko celo nekajkrat dosegla proizvodno ceno. Medtem ko smo še vedno bili na borzi Bittrex, se je obseg trgovanja močno povečal, bili smo na poti, da bi spremenili prodajni pritisk v nakupni pritisk.

Uredili smo težave po Bittrexu in zaradi zakonskih sprememb v ZDA. Težave s prenosi denarja z drugih celin v Evropo nam niso šle na roko. Tako smo vložili še več truda, da smo to uredili. Na srečo XAUR nima stalne inflacije, zato mislimo, da smo uspeli. Tudi naročila za prodajo pojenjajo, kar se vidi tudi po manjših dnevnih obsegih trgovanja.

Pozitivni trendi

Ocenjujemo, da je približno 90% ljudi, ki so želeli prodati XAUR, to že storilo. Po drugi strani pa smo tik pred odprtjem novih plačilnih kanalov, ki bodo omogočili stalni denarni tok iz tujine. Znesek teh svežih sredstev bo večji od prodajnih naročil. Tako bomo končno zapolnili vrzel, kar nam bo mogočilo prodajati XAUR po produkcijski ceni, posledica tega pa bodo novi minti.

Na žalost nimamo čarobne palice, da bi pričarali minte, zato se lahko zanašamo le na trdo delo. To je tisto, kar najbolje obvladamo in moram poudariti, da je v tujini in med našimi poslovnimi sodelavci vzdušje in zaupanje v projekta izjemno.

Širitev projekta

Projekt Xaurum se hitro razvija. Pred nekaj meseci je bilo 95% XAUR v rokah imetnikov v Sloveniji ali na Hrvaškem, danes pa je distribucija veliko širša, saj je 70% kovancev je v rokah ljudi po vsem svetu. Zaradi prerazporeditve je cena nižja, kot bi si želeli, vendar delamo vse, da bi to spremenili s povečevanjem zalog zlata. Kot smo že omenili, smo odprli dva velika trga, Avstralijo in Brazilijo, kjer pa smo naleteli na težave s transferji nakazil. Zelo si prizadevamo, da projekt deluje znotraj vseh zakonskih okvirov, ureditev vsega pa včasih zahteva veliko časa.

Morda le še sklepna misel.

Vsi se moramo zavedati, da tržna cena ni edini pokazatelj, koliko dela je bilo opravljenega na projektu v zadnjih mesecih. Naredili smo velike korake pri izgradnji infrastrukture projekta, od pogodb do pravnih dokumentov, odpiranja novih podjetij, pridobivanja novih poslovnih partnerjev … Projekt Xaurum ni le ETH naslov kjer se zbirajo sredstva, opravka imamo s prenosi FIAT valut s celine na celino, z nakupom fizičnega zlata, z različnimi uradnimi institucijami in številnimi drugimi postopki. Kot sem že omenil, smo naleteli na nekaj izzivov in smo tik pred tem, da jih razrešimo. Ko se bo to zgodilo, bo rezultat trdega dela viden pri najpomembnejših parametrih, količini zlata in tržni ceni. Zagotavljam vam, da ekipa neumorno dela, da uresničimo cilje. Nobenega hypa, samo zlato

Zavedam se, da ljudje ne kupujejo XAUR, ker menijo, da je ekipa prijazna, ampak zato, ker želijo oplemeniti svoj denar. Razumem tudi, da so ljudje lahko jezni, če njihova pričakovanja niso izpolnjena, še posebej, če so v zadnjem četrtletju leta 2017 opazovali kripto eksplozijo in menili, da bi moral Xaurum eksplodirati tako, kot so drugi. Zdaj je že jasno, da je večinoma šlo za neutemeljeno vznesenost, za hype, in milijoni so izhlapeli, kot so se pojavili. Xaurum nikoli ne bo temeljil na lažnem hypu, ker smo našli najboljši temelj. Zlato.

Poudaril bi še rad, da je dobrodošel vsakršen dobronameren predlog, opozorilo ali kritika, ki bi nam pomagali še izboljšati projekt.

I believe that the most important thing that can be done for the project at the moment is to move this thread to moderated one. Some people here really don't get the basic of decent communication. It sad that people are willing to harm the project and consequently the holders, and invest so much time into it... I hope the team consider the option, since I am not the only one suggesting that.
