Is the plan for Chimera to be 100% premined and then some kind of PoS system? Or will there still be a PoW aspect similar to HUC?

There are other gaming coins, but none of them are completely decentralized like Huntercoin with no server. Most simply place game assets on the Bitcoin or Ethereum blockchain or are used as in-game currency for fully-centralized games. Chimera will be an advanced platform on top of which all games can be decentralized, like Huntercoin but better.
This is good news for all the game aficionados. And to think that it is much better than HUC.
Let's wait for this great evolution of HUC to CHI.
Will be checking the progress of this project from time to time.

i would like to say that if the devs put a bit of effort into filling all the gaps like websites and all the rest it would look like a good start but i really hope this is not a weekend warrior type dev situation because it will take alot of work to get this up and running! ICO isnt a actuall way to go but to each their own i guess!

No way; chimeras are awesome-looking and featured as mythical beasts in video games all the time. What would you suggest, though?

Hi.
There is quite a large difference afaik .. a completely different area of expertise and projects.
You cannot really compare them.
I may need correcting if im wrong but Game cryptos are pretty much Bitcoin clones which will use the cryptocurrencies for in game currencies or to purchase games.
Some 'blockchain games' store assets in Bitcoin and clones or similar using them as an asset store.
Those examples are really a different but still important part of gaming and blockchain than what we are doing.
Huntercoin (released feb 2014) is much more advanced as an actual crypto coin compared to others in that it has an actual mmo game/virtual world in/On the blockchain.
It really is gaming on the blockchain.. Not actually just using the blockchain for gaming.
Chimera is the step up from Huntercoin - you will be able to build and run multiple games and applications on the chain using innovative methods..
Even fast paced games..
What others are doing is great also.
But to answer the question again - huntercoin / chimera are completely different and there isn't anything out there like them.

GameCredits is a universal currency for video games, using blockchain technology to facilitate in-game payments for traditional games. It does not let you insert critical (likely to be disputed) game data into the blockchain, which is what Chimera tokens (CHI) will be used for. With this feature, Chimera allows developers to build completely decentralized online games.

i mean that, is it possible to make a decentralized mmorpg game like; blade&soul,blackdesert online or worldofwarcraft etc. with cool graphics? those mmos hosting game to server, players connect the server with clients...
