I installed Genesix Wallet on Windows. I have my wallet address for the miner.
I installed the node at HiveOS.
I use a custom miner and I set Genesix wallet address in miner.
Now, it is mining.
Should I use a wallet into the node ?
Or is Genesix wallet address ok ?

It would be high time to apply the capabilities of XEL to solve specific applied problems. After all, this is exactly what XEL was invented for. We just saw that the XEL wallet is back online. We would like to point our recipe node to it to make XEL available again in project hybrix and its wallet Internet of Coins. Traffic will be limited, since hybrix employs an advanced caching mechanism, so the pressure on your node will be limited.
Please let us know if you would like XEL to be available this way to other users and portfolio holders.

It's pretty much dead. There are some talks here and then on discord but the reality is that it's a beast that nobody knows how to use. Imo, the only hope is if evil knievel makes an cameo but I doubt he has any interest in that.

In the effort we are making as a team to move XEL forward , we decided to create a new thread in BCT . Announcements and maintenance of the thread will be accessible by an account that belongs to the team . We are doing our best to organize the project as we have lost time in the past with tasks that have nothing to do with real development .

When the project had traction and was compared to a competition to golem. Where it could gain a lot from advertising and make it mainstream. The lead devlopper had attitude and rejected marketing. Now its in the dead alley and nobody cares except a few ogs

Yep, maybe marketing is not a priority right now, but don't you see how much work do the team to improve their project?
Well, i would love to see someone market it to the academic community as an alternative to the rather egalitarian BOINC project! What the crypto community typically understands as „marketing“, however, is some excessive shilling on twitter to pump the price and lure people into buying by giving them the tingles and the idea of getting rich quick! That, i never wanted to be part of and i think that this kind of marketing is an outright scam! Look at all these projects out there: their marketing is rarely outlining the unique benefits their technology offers! It‘s all about signals, profits, and „FOMO“!
you are the man, XEL is still one of the best project, since it's open source, i think a lot of other developer will follow it and make it great again.
