Indeed, one should be too rich, or too stupid, or too lazy, to miss this chance of recovering their coin and making good return for both themselves and their investors. Almost all MN coins went crazy, except ExpoCredits, which is a shame. Even slightest effort could have given good return, but they didn't do anything. Maybe they just don't have a single XEMP coin currently,so don't care at all what will happen with their creation, as they don't have financial interest. If that's the case, it sucks even more, as it shows they don't give a f**k about their investors - people who trusted them and gave them money, to at least try to give them something in return, when there was a chance to get a lot with minimal effort.

The fact they are answering questions in trollbox, makes things even worse - because it means they are alive and have time to respond, but chose to do nothing to recover their good name.
I was of a high opinion of Empoex owners before... But not anymore.

P.S. On another thought, it seems like they just don't have resources. The fact is they didn't even try to promote and develop their exchange to return its market share during the time of crypto boost, shows they are practically out of this business. Maybe they got day job and don't have time to spend on their small crypto adventure...   I am actually surprised they didn't close the exchange yet. Maybe waiting for good timing if you understand what I mean  

P.S.2 Xemp is not even listed in Coinmarketcap.com! No wonder nobody even noticed that coin during masternode craze...

At least for a staking currency, the network is still alive as long as there are a few nodes open. I'm doing my part.

Though the fact that the recent excitement about masternodes didn't inspire any further work is a little disappointing.

They do respond to your questions in the Empo trollbox at least.

there WAS potential   this project was like a year ago, had alot of community support, ICO went not terrible, but the dev of the exchange just let it goto shit, he got disheartened real fast, even tried selling the script for the place :/
He came back, tried a bit more, the exchange still lives today, tho i think under new management
all and all, this one was a fail and is pretty dead i think

Doing like what? This coin is related to empoex. But looks like they dont giving any sh*t about xemp.
Somebody buyed some of my coins last night and i wish him luck with it. There are some more sellorders. If they got hit i wish the new owner good luck with it and hope it will fly to the moon for him.

Given the fact this is a masternode coin, and masternodes are in fashion now, this could rise a lot if marketed right.

Its the right time for Empoex owners to do something with this coin, for their own good. Not sure there will be another chance like this one now.

On another topic: so Empoex was actually sold? I didn't know. When? To whom it was sold? I supposed it should be managed better after the acquisition, as someone who bought it, should have plans connected with it, right..?

You must have me confused with someone else... I've only ever talked to them on IRC back when they had an issue with something. I didn't have Skype installed on a single machine in 2015. Nobody called me on Skype and said "we're gonna scam the shit out of the people who bought our token." Come on man. That's fucking ridiculous.

No matter what, the death of one of the founders is a heavy piece of information to lay down without some backup evidence or someone who can corroborate. If you're trolling it's a pretty skill-less way to do it. It would be really good for Ant or Drone to revisit this thread and lay some information down, but to my knowledge, since the sale of Empo to another party, they are only involved in the exchange as advisors.

U were the one who suggested them to reword their promotional tweets in august 2015. They were glad to follow ur advise and rethink the manner of tweeting, but thereafter they called u on skype and told u that they're gonna scam the shit out of those who bought empocredits. U asked them why and they responded that empoex-drone got AIDS and will not be able to continue with the development. Those guys are spanish, and I know where they live. In case u're interested in how it ended, u may wish to know that drone died last week. Ant is the last of empoexers to confirm my words.

I was given a connection node by EmpoEx staff in a support ticket... so the coin's still got some life in it. Now to sync and stake.
