@ButterRose(DEV) Time to stir things up a bit. Yobit completed its 100% retracement err... pump/dump. Cryptopia fund is looking pretty poor. I understand flood of cheap 1000x POS ROI coins like Force and Innova probably contributed to dump as well. Any good news soon?
Yeah agreed atm things are looking down a little bit unfortunately maybe another exchange listing thats not topia considering they want 40K to list a coin. I personal think there are better exchanges out there with more overall volume then topia like coinexchange and tradesatoshi(that has a free voting option). Both of those exchanges have better UI's to for mobile devices then topia so thats another reason to skip that exchange and use the funding for a different one. Kucoin is also another exchange to consider and they pay out exchange dividends daily which is very nice and an easy way to collect passive income on top of trading same with COSS, those pay weekly in ETH. So there are other options to consider besides topia and bittrex imho.
I actually don't think adding other exchanges is the right move, I think developing and improving the coin is. Xios has still yet to prove itself on YoBit, which is a big enough exchange, even if many don't like it.
Phore are planning on using OpenBazaar code to introduce their own marketplace in the wallet (coming Q1 2018). And the launch of OpenBazaar 2 caused quite a stir on reddit yesterday. People are waking up to decentralized peer 2 peer marketplaces and they seem like they'll be the next big thing. Xios already has a big community, something like this could really give them an incentive to Hodl, and new people to buy.
Doesn't have to be a marketplace it can be anything that the dev is capable of adding.
Either way, I think more exchanges get better exposure to more people. They see the roller coaster then they ride the ride. I mean I have three friends that wont touch a coin that isnt on bittrex because they dont trust other exchanges (but whatever).
However, I really do like your idea on this. Decentralized markets - there has been very little done in this arena. One of the things we could consider is especially because we literally have a ton of computers running xios wallets constantly (Masternodes) is setting up a network of like websites or something that could operate as individual shops or something per person. Honestly, dont know how this would work, except that I do know how to host a wordpress shop on a linux server - Im just spitballing ideas, but what if we were able to work that into the GUI - then if people who owned nodes didnt want to open a "shop" or site or whatever, they could rent it to joe or bill - with stipulations that they didnt try to sell illegal shit on it - IDK man either way, sounds like a pipe dream, but if someone can work with that theres my contribution to XIOS
