When I try mine in pools I have this message:

[2017-08-25 23:31:25] stratum_subscribe timed out
[2017-08-25 23:31:25] ...retry after 30 seconds

What it means?

Dude, do you even know how this coin work? Do you know that you will be consuming 10 times more electricity than making profit with 20 000 KH\s?

If you have 20k, go mine Zoin, go mine XMR, go mine VRM, go mine Bytecoin... There is a lot of coins. Do some research, just leave Magi alone, or mine it with 100, 200, 1000 KH\s, and everyone will have good profit. Otherwise noone will get anything, even you.
I have not pay for electricity, and every end point device is lowpowered. It is like botnet  but fully legal.
Mining other coins with such devices is absolutely useless.
I`ll not leave magi alone until I can get money there, it is true and just accept it.
But I understand devs trouble and do not try just ruin their work, it is why Im not mining until fix done.

what is the other coin with cpu friendly algo?

Check neoscrypt and cryptonight algos.

It is important that you follows devs setup for magi.conf so that you are in sync with the masternode 104.128.225.215. That is only the correct chain as mentioned from devs.

Important that you also delete peers.dat so you only get in sync only with masternode.

TrasMaMod is in sync with masternode and has the masternode as only peer.

And ensure that you also using the latest wallet!

If you have big hashrate, then I listed some above, check them out. There are 10s of coins for people with that much hashpower.

life is simple!
I must call out those 2 with insane hash rates, because it's clear that they are taking block rewards from everyone. It's pure douchebaggery. Nothing else.

If this coin only for friends then just delist it from any market and mine it solo.   Everywhere where peresent money - it is business.
Someone, who have big hr power just try to make money, until other network is weak.. People just hope they will dp mine to correct chain and get jackpot.
Developers shoult isolate main chain somehow if want avoid this.

PS: I have not 5000 but about 20000 and still wait for fix and do not use power.
PPS: There is not a lot of coins (in fact only 2) with cpu friendly algo, it is why some big minners will not change to other.

I posted earlier this morning that I thought something was wrong at minerclaim.  Their total hashrate is somehow not all going to the network.  I don't know how that is possible but the numbers don't add up.  I wouldn't worry about this coin forking again, if it does, the people mining on the wrong fork have no one to blame but themselves.  Its been decided what node decides the proper chain.

And you guys remember: there's still no fix for this forking issue. As Joe said before, this was the first of two steps: to make the chain move again, and "pin" it to a temporary master peer. A fork was likely to happen, but now we should move to step 2 and find where the problem is. Also remember that minining is still risky at this point as you can lose some or everything you mine (on pool or solo).
Good reminder amigo.

Apart from all the Forking and Syncing game happening back to back, again and again, please consider posting an Absolute N00b guide for Solo Mining. From Step 0 till the end.

Would really appreciate the help.

Thanks!
Yes good tip. We had some guides but the are not up to date at this moment. Magi will post a new one when all things are running fine again.

Joe posted one yesterday actually:  http://m-core.org/solo-mine-magi/

Nice, well done!
Does this mean there's only something wrong at minerclaim?
At the other pools the reward is getting up.
Please let the big ones stay at minerclaim on the wrong chain.
Am I right?

Minerclaim is behind us, can't tell if they are off from the chain or not, i need to see hashes to say that.

We could say block XXX but it's actually the hash of XXX that counts.

I've told them they are off - Don't know if they are off cause of out of sync or fork.
Did a withdrawal from them and that came as it should.

Do you connect exclusively to the main peer, and does your wallet mine or stake?
Just trying to figure out some clues to the fork.

It's connected to devs peers + my private (which also is connected to devs peer)

I think the issue was a to low banscore setting. And ofc raised it.

@TrasMaMod owner

Please fix your pools dashboard. It just stops refreshing after a while.

Noticed the solo mining info on the latest wallet update links and now I'm curious is anybody having any luck mining this coin solo with CPU?

I've only seen a couple of coins that could actually be solo mined with a cpu and would be very interested in mining XMG if it was in fact a decent option!

I mining solo, but today nothing mined.... i have 4 PC on my local network, but today i don't luck

@jcreyesb thanks for the reply! Are you cpu mining and if so what processor are you using?
I have Two i3 and Two Xeon , un the pool my hash was about 200K, solo i don't luck. Today Zero xmg...

Hi, I'm tying to solo mine with a few computers on my local network. How do I know if the wallet is receiving the hashes?
