From where comes this huge network hash?
Botnets solo mining or what?

Could be .. It's quite annoying. I don't think people actually read the paper of MAGI (https://arxiv.org/pdf/1409.7948v1.pdf)
At the current hashrate, the difficulty lies around 2.8 meaning that the reward is almost 0.

So I guess those botnets/server farms will leave soon as there's nothing to be gained.
Yes. We noticed this more often. Sometimes people see $ signs and are missing the words!

We can only hope... 2,000 kh/s is ridiculous.

It's just ridiculous what are they doing... Go mine VRM or ZOIN, or something like that. I don't want to advertise other coins here, but if you have HUGE hashrate, I mean above 1 or 2k kH\s, go and mine other coins, Magi is not profitable if you mine with that much hashrate. Not just for you, but for anyone.

Or they doing it on purpose.

I think it's a problem to fix right after blockchain fix. Go and tell pools that they must do something about it, and don't allow anyone to setup a pool just like that and ruin the coins purpose.

ERROR: mempool transaction missing input
Any idea why?

I've got the same, I'm looking into it to see where the problem is.

When the debug.log says that, you won't be able to stake or solomine (Wallet actually crashed when solomined with that err msg).
So when seeing that, you will not stake coins or be able to solomine.

To get rid of those messages add the following to
magi.conf
Code:
posii=0

Got this after a system upgrade on my Manjaro linux dist and hand no previous problems with this. Got another installation of Manjoro to test a new wallet on. I'll update when i find what causing this.

What OS are you running?

XMGPool down or something ? I cant access their website since 2hours ago
I just found the web server apache2 takes too much resources. So I temporarily shut the website down. Need sometime to fix it.
You can check
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xmg/address.dws?93vbq7qfqCZvvTmHMqrHfWMeXkmJaoDCmA.htm

After shutdown the apache2 server, the pool can find another block. I will lower the pool fee to 0.5% for some time after fix the apache2 problem.

Yes, you should use the latest blockchain snapshot after update and resync the last 15 hours or so. The coins you have in your wallet will possibly be lost if you were in the wrong fork when you got/mined them.

Good morning, please help, I have my wallet synchronized with the blockchain in block 1453526, I have to synchronize with the new blockchain after the update? The currencies I currently have in the wallet are lost with this update ??

Thank you

Wow, for us the standard seems to be around 0.25% for an instant access savings
It because your currency is fairly stable, our is not Smiley
And other hands - you can get credit for 1%-2%  and we get for 12%-13% mortgage

If we were smart, instead of staking we would sell all of our XMG and put the money in Argentina banks  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
Should this be true for dollar accounts?

No I was joking.  As was pointed out, countries with higher interest rates usually have them for a reason:  unstable currency, inflation, etc.

lets make money together!
Also, I seem to be having issues solo mining. I believe everything is set up correctly in my .conf file, however whenever I try to run m-minerd I'm given this error message: "HTTP request failed: Failed to connect to 127.0.0.1 port 8232: Connection refused"
followed in the next line by:
json_rpc_call request failed, retry after 30 seconds
what do I need to do here to be able to solo mine? Is this something stupid I've missed? Or perhaps a windows issue?
m-minerd .bat looks like so: m-minerd --url http://127.0.0.1:8232/ --user user --pass x -t 6 -e 95

It looks like that either your wallet or daemon is not running, your rpcport is not 8232 in .conf file or you are trying to mine from another computer...?
this might be alittle late but if the probl;em is still happening the things I would check first is that magi has firewall access , second check that your password and user are correct in you.bat file i would copy and paste from conf file to .bat those are what got me passed this last night

it could be that! I have my wallet on my NAS currently, will try moving the miner to the NAS/wallet to main machine

still no luck with the solo mining. Tried moving the wallet to the main desktop off of the NAS and still the same issue. .conf looks like so:
rpcuser=rpcuser
rpcpassword=rpcpass

rpcport=8232

rpcallowip=127.0.0.1

listen=0
connect=104.128.225.215

daemon=1
server=1
rpcport=8232
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=x

An obvious problem I see is that you have rpcuser and rpcpassword in the conf file twice.  Remove one of those entries.  or change it to m-minerd --url http://127.0.0.1:8232/ --user rpcuser --pass rpcpass -t 6 -e 95

Have changed pool from NOMP to MPOS... as people didn't like NOMP's look.

Shares and blocks will be paid out as they're still accepted.

If people want, it's changed to http://h2701744.stratoserver.net/

Will need to setup rest, but will be done once chain is up.

Once again, feel free to use, but no hard guarantees mining will work at this point due to chain issues.

Edward

Nice work man!
I'd be interested in using your pool. Won't mine until we get more information from dev.

Have decided to move it back to NOMP, and adjust layout to show work done by miner etc.
link is still: http://h2701744.stratoserver.net:85
Pool is up and running on main chain as per Joe's posts.

Feel free to use, and allow some time to adjust layout.

Thanks,
Edward

Thanks for setting the pool back up.  Is there a way for you to display when the last block was found and the payout for the block?  It seems like it doesn't display some basic information. I don't know what nomp capabilities are but it would be nice to be able to go to my wallet on there for stats
