Because the phase 2 announcement was in Japanese we noticed that a lot of people didn't understand what actually was released. To summarize;
Due to Line being a massive corp with very lackluster SLAs and long response times, and due to there being huge demand among the Japanese Line user base for a Shield payment and settlement solution, the JP team decided to code and launch a dedicated app within 1 week that interacts with Line's database directly without needing their direct support and bridges it with the XSH blockchain. This keeps adoption momentum going without delaying the launch process any further, and retains all the Shieru branding that the Japanese user base has come to recognize.
