I was looking forward for this, took out btc from my liquidity for this, and then I see the IPO price which is indeed too high. The target of 1542 Btc is aprox 717,000usd marketcap at current btc prices. That would put the coin after the IPO and if all IPO coins were sold on number 40 on coinmarketcap next to Crypti and a bit higher than Storj, while Storj is already trading a bit over the IPO price, and is already estabilished in some way (it had it`s launch), you are targeting a higher marketcap than that without having anything launched. I am not here for promoting anything else, I really like your project, just wanted to share my opinion why you are more likely to loose some of the initial investors because of the IPO price. First people will not put their liquidity into something that lasts 4 weeks (having funds blocked for 4 weeks is a long time in cryptoworld), and that it is also selling with a very high price thus minimizing their profit margin. Taking another example just for pure statistics, Viacoin was selling at aprox 6000 sats for 10mil coins, why am I picking this?Because it is an example of a succesful IPO for the original investors. If you compare the 6000 sats for 10mil with your 1500 sats for 100mil , you can clearly see that for an investor you are starting at a huge disadvantage. If you start with a 717k marketcap, and the idea will be adopted and you get for example a 3x you will achieve a 2.15mil usd marketcap, which will put you next to Viacoin as a marketcap, which has already given the chance for a 10x, and it is currently traded at a 6.5x IPO price after all this time. I`m not saying your idea is not good or it will not succede, I`m just saying it is not the optimal way to approach an IPO, I dunno who came up with the pricing and what calculations have you done.I really wanted to invest into this but I cannot with these prices, the risks outweigh the possible rewards wich are already on a very small margin because of the pricing, while I can mantain my liquidity and invest into something with a shorter release schedule. The game has changed so much, you are not longer competing with estabilished coins , you are competing with other IPOs, it is the IPO game, whoever manages to get fair pricing while lowering the potential risks and brining something new will get the attention of early adopters. Please take this as constructive criticism. You get more flies with honey than you get with vinegar.

ICO price is too high. It is very difficult to profit.
Even 1000sat is too high. This is 100m coin.
Accroding to CLD XBOT GB ROOT..., The proper ICO is about 100 BTC cap.

1. The wallet will not be ready before then.
2. Significantly lower entry point than other decentralized applications.
There are 2 problems:

1. ICO phase is too long.

2. ICO price is too high.

Outsourcing hardcore programming to former Skype developers full-time (p2p software). This is not a part-time hobby.
I will be the UX/UI designer to make it pretty and simple.

Project Lead is different than developer.
Regards,

Is the OP #1 author of the thread an actual hard-core (C++? Python? QT? cryptography?) programmer or outsourcing to a programmer?
Just want to avoid anything like a Syscoin or Cinnicoin that isn't lead full-time by a real programmer.

I would look at the top 40+ coins on coinmarketcap.com and point out which are copies of each other with slight variances.

Updated OP.

Tentative TileCoin Initial Coin Sales until approval by Bittrex

TileCoinX to transfer to Bittrex if approved.
http://blockscan.com/assetinfo.aspx?q=TILECOINX

Date of Initial Coin Sales to be determined with Bittrex.

The price for each TileCoin is 0.00001542 BTC and the total market cap would be a maximum of 1542 BTC.

Any TileCoin that are not sold during the 4 week period, need to be burned by Bittrex who will send the remaining unsold TileCoin to the following non-spendable Bitcoin address.

You got some balls with this enormous mkt cap. I think your original thought of 500 sats is too much for 100m coins.

4 weeks for an ICO is forever in CryptoLand ..
Please consider reducing to two weeks for the ICO ..

Thank you for your questions.

1. Escrow is the Exchange.
Will you have an escrow for the ICO?
All addresses will be provided to the general public. We will use specific Accounting Codes in txns. Novel new concept as well.

2. Yes for sure. I would prefer that an Exchange only release funds on a monthly basis to prove that we are on track with development tasks and we will not run away, otherwise we will seek an independent Escrow to release funds on a monthly basis. This has a cost though. Which I do not mind and will personally pay out of my pocket for TRUST purposes. Unprecedented from other scam coins.
Regards,
Very little compared to others. We are much more realistic.

Will update the high-level budget on the OP.
This is at current BTC to Fiat conversion.
When/If BTC goes higher, then less BTC is needed.

Regards,

1542 btc.

Wow that's quite the funds you want to raise
Which others? Normally 1500 is a pretty huge demand. Still because I like the OP, I have two queries:

1. Will you have an escrow for the ICO?
2. Are you going to clarify all the escrow requirements to the public? syscoin (raised 1500 btc) btc has been stuck with moolah as slex has been changing the escrow terms as he wishes. Add to it the fact that most of the escrowers hold the view that working wallet/blockchain (bittrex) is enough for the escrow money to be released. That holds true even if people normally pay for the "functionality" of the coin and not a vanilla copy of blockchain and wallet.
