I confirm owner of t1ZiuPPaCuTGAQaqg1mXc9f7fTuschtFb3s premine ~ 200 block in ~ 1.5 hours with super low diff  and he quit after mine 251 block

who cares?i mined around 500 coins in the time and ?

in what time frame and with what setup you mined 500 coins?

in any case this is no where near the 20% developers funding that zcash is giving away for an easy dumping

Interesting, single miners grabbing many of the early blocks in a short time is what happened in the Zcash launch also.  Here's a good analysis from the Zcash forum:

https://forum.z.cash/t/some-interesting-facts-after-the-launch/4856

https://explorer.zcha.in/accounts/t1KstPVzcNEK4ZeauQ6cogoqxQBMDSiRnGr

"1) First 48 blocks were mined by the same miner t1KstPVzcNEK4ZeauQ6cogoqxQBMDSiRnGr15 in 5 minutes while difficulty was growing from 1 to 1.94, earning him 0.72 ZEC (worth more than 11 000$ at the moment). Block times were around 1-3 seconds. EDIT: The wallet seems to belong to CoinMine.pl pool5.

2) In the next 6 minutes - 114 more blocks were mined (Blocks #49-#163). This time part of this bounty was shared with the second miner: t1K3HfLpbqzoWx1sv7wHAHjjyrPYyzacZUq - don't know what pool/miner it is.
Total of 6.5 ZEC was mined during this time. Difficulty raised to 17, block time still averages 4 seconds.

3) At block #164 the third miner comes in, but it's just a luck - he mined just one block for all time. First pool still mines most of the blocks.

4) After 5 more minutes, around block #200, a new big miner appears - t1SaATQbzURpG1qU3vz9Wfn3pwXoTqFtTq25, and he gets the most piece of the pie from that time.

After around an hour at around block #400 the real competition starts, as the difficulty increases to over 1000, and block times are around 1 minute. More miners come in, but first pool and last big miner still do many blocks.

Let's share more facts found from analyzing the blockchain."

It is so interesting to investigate those so-called 'No Premine' coins... you always found something... Very surprised that SuprNova is setting up a pool for this. If I remember they are against instamine but this time it seems that he didn't care at all.

Hey Placebo, what the hell are you talking about? You're fudding so much here, what's going on? Any conflict of interest with zec? Tongue

Why can not i connect to the server? I'm trying for nheqminer -l zcl.suprnova.cc:4042 -u Weblogin.Worker -p password -t 4 ?

you got to create a worker ? have you created one ? and changed this  -u Weblogin.Worker -p password -t 4 ?

Of course, i happen to be in CPU/Windows

Are you still having trouble?
NOTE: On the latest Windows Binary you don't need "-l zcl.suprnova.cc:4042" at all - don't use that flag, it will be re-added later !

Does not connect, have a note on the site saying not to use -l zcl.suprnova.cc:4042
But if i do not use start mining ZCash  Huh

nheqminer -l zcl.suprnova.cc:4042 -u Weblogin.Worker -p password

Would be correct, but use version 0.4b

OK, I've been hitting a lot of blocks...

Can someone confirm I'm on the same chain as everyone else...

Code:
zcash-cli  getblockhash 1
0004b371c02c41c61c189ce04ac147220daf796e9a60ce90cfee31e5a71dda2d

zcash-cli getblockhash 3
000274d5b2b3de799e6d144914e2deae0c84f05d73574803510dcfbf6416ce6c

zcash-cli getblockhash 149
0000099dbf43869cdf46379e37ee685236d44af8cbe4ef5e83eac181033aba8b

thx.
its ok

OK, thanks - I can't believe my luck! Although I do have 2,700 sols pointed to it!

I’ve seen there has been quite a bit of conjecture about who mined the early blocks and some have said the devs may have instamined etc. This is not the case at least for the 251 blocks I mined.

I’ve put this together to refute the FUD, thank the devs and to ensure there is no black mark against the zclassic launch.

I managed to mine 251 blocks starting from block 4 - after closely monitoring the updates being published on the https://github.com/z-classic/zclassic GitHub and the announcement that it was live in this thread.

For those that would like to know - I used a combination of AWS cloud mining and a few local rigs pointed to sammy007’s zcash stratum-proxy directed a single local zclassic daemon node. This allowed me to mine 2,700 sols to a single node from block 4! - Nice work sammy - (contact sammy007 on https://chat.zcashcommunity.com/direct/sammy007 to see about buying his private zcash stratum proxy if your interested)

Here is a signed message using the the private key which I control for
Code:
t1ZiuPPaCuTGAQaqg1mXc9f7fTuschtFb3s
and which is the coinbase address for all my mined blocks. See the https://classic.zcha.in/accounts/t1ZiuPPaCuTGAQaqg1mXc9f7fTuschtFb3s

Code:
IJQfN+nTUzfaEsGWZvZtR+1HTcdI0IcWYGDwLnnpedJzX9Dap/WmZ+xI5vtgIo5rJZfpTCG/GUC7uH/N2X/H+SE=

And this is the command I used to create it:

Code:
~/zclassic/src/zcash-cli signmessage t1ZiuPPaCuTGAQaqg1mXc9f7fTuschtFb3s "Zclassic rocks by nethyb!"

I believe you should be able to verify I own this address / private key by running the command on your local zclassic node

Code:
~/zclassic/src/zcash-cli verifymessage t1ZiuPPaCuTGAQaqg1mXc9f7fTuschtFb3s IJQfN+nTUzfaEsGWZvZtR+1HTcdI0IcWYGDwLnnpedJzX9Dap/WmZ+xI5vtgIo5rJZfpTCG/GUC7uH/N2X/H+SE= "Zclassic rocks by nethyb!"

For those that will ask - I’ve sold a little on c-cex to cover my cloud costs and HODLin’ the rest - and I’m still mining now on a pool with my local rigs.

The classics stand the test of time!

(get me on https://zclassic.slack.com as nethyb)

I Reboot?

I think we should reboot zclassic.  With the same block reward structure (minus founders reward, or have it at 5%).  this one was changed to 12.50 for no good reason other than to mine a lot of coins fast.

edit: or whatever.  whatevs

So, are we looking at instant profit mining ZCL like we are now experiencing mining ZEC?
I can mine Zec for two days and turn it into a decent amount of BTC.  Or, is it like Pascal coin where
I found four blocks/400 coins and waiting for it to go up? (I'm ok with that, too).

I believe it's slightly more profitable than ZEC to mine at the moment.

The initial difficulty parameters for Zclassic were set low.  Difficulty adjusts each block, but it does appear that an early adopter managed to mine 84 blocks.  I was not the lucky miner.  It was probably someone reading this thread.  If I had known people would bring that much solving power to the network that fast, I would have made the initial difficulty a little higher. Because I didn't know how much miners would participate, I kept the default setting low because it re-adjusts each block anyway.  The exact code was made publicly available before the launch.

You can see the blocks here now that we have a block explorer:  Sorty by height ascending: https://classic.zcha.in/blocks

Placebo is complaining simultaneously that:

1. It's unfair an early adopter mined coins with no existing market and made a lot of money because they are now worth a lot.

2. Zclassic coins will be worthless because clearly Zcash keeps losing value (nevermind their increasing rate of block rewards, high starting difficulty, and 20% tax).

If you don't like that, please fork the coin, start the difficulty out high, give everyone 4 weeks advance notice, and see how easy it is to get miners on board.

It is my belief that a coin should reward early adopters, not the other way around.  If you don't like something about Zclassic, don't use it.  It's that simple.

If you think the starting parameters in the code were bad, fork it and start a new coin.  That's what I did.

Sorry current supply is : 30325 ZCL so his 1037 coins is a little more then 0.000049405. Also the fact is when he has this amount of coins he could sell at 0.01... so then you are talking about 10.37 BTC premine Wink and you call that nothing? There are a lot of ICO coins that even don't hit 5 BTC Smiley, or a lot of other scam premine coins that doesn't hit that number...

And he send those coins, so most likely he dumped those coins (already).

You will see Zclassic dying little by little, as dev doesn't have any coins and he will make another scam... waiting for another famous coin and scam in the same way. This person is even so stupid to use the same wallet... if he would have mine it from different wallets then nobody would notice, but here it is more then clear.... Investors again gave away 10 BTC to a scammer....

I'm not Touching any classic stuff because I lost to much on ETC i guessing this will be the same just asking ? .

No, it's just a similarity in the name and not in the reason of having the fork. This is just a "fair" version of Zcash witout the dev reward hardcoded in each block...thisis a real cryptocurrency develoepd by the community for teh community as bitcoin was so i think ZCL will have much longer future than zcash.

just my two cents.
