The initial difficulty parameters for Zclassic were set low. Difficulty adjusts each block, but it does appear that an early adopter managed to mine 84 blocks. I was not the lucky miner. It was probably someone reading this thread. If I had known people would bring that much solving power to the network that fast, I would have made the initial difficulty a little higher. Because I didn't know how much miners would participate, I kept the default setting low because it re-adjusts each block anyway. The exact code was made publicly available before the launch.
You can see the blocks here now that we have a block explorer: Sorty by height ascending:
https://classic.zcha.in/blocksPlacebo is complaining simultaneously that:
1. It's unfair an early adopter mined coins with no existing market and made a lot of money because they are now worth a lot.
2. Zclassic coins will be worthless because clearly Zcash keeps losing value (nevermind their increasing rate of block rewards, high starting difficulty, and 20% tax).
If you don't like that, please fork the coin, start the difficulty out high, give everyone 4 weeks advance notice, and see how easy it is to get miners on board.
It is my belief that a coin should reward early adopters, not the other way around. If you don't like something about Zclassic, don't use it. It's that simple.
If you think the starting parameters in the code were bad, fork it and start a new coin. That's what I did.
Sorry current supply is : 30325 ZCL so his 1037 coins is a little more then 0.000049405. Also the fact is when he has this amount of coins he could sell at 0.01... so then you are talking about 10.37 BTC premine
and you call that nothing? There are a lot of ICO coins that even don't hit 5 BTC
, or a lot of other scam premine coins that doesn't hit that number...
And he send those coins, so most likely he dumped those coins (already).
You will see Zclassic dying little by little, as dev doesn't have any coins and he will make another scam... waiting for another famous coin and scam in the same way. This person is even so stupid to use the same wallet... if he would have mine it from different wallets then nobody would notice, but here it is more then clear.... Investors again gave away 10 BTC to a scammer....
