Where is your location and have you opened up port 8168?

Yes it's pushed to dev branch and we are testing but not released yet. We have only been testing it a week and we should get a new release within a week or so. This will have the faster loading time. As mentioned the first loading time will be slow but subsequent loads will be in minutes.

We recently had an additional developer to help us out so Poramin is not alone. We hope to recruit more.

I have downloaded the poramin version but it's so lag and now it's over 24 hour and I see that it was stucked at block 13189 (12 days to go).
How can I do it? how long must I wait for synchronizing?

I guess besides him there's a team? If only one person this will become tough. I do hope this coin willl continue despite recent turmoil, as at least it has some good features and plan for more good features.

I though Poramin had already upgraded wallet so that it doesn't lag and so that it syncs faster, it seems like this coin needs a Dev team behind it, because poramin on his own it makes it a little difficult for him.

Not defecting, but I am splitting up some of my hash power to make sure all the pools get a fair shake and secure the network.


Its been 32 hours + since the last block so lets hope a few others decide to split up the hash power they have.

If you indeed have enough knowledge and skills to fork this and add considerable improvements, you would better join the ZCoin Dev team. They have bounties and funding specifically to pay new team members.

I doubt anyone will join yet another fork of ZCoin now. Too much forks, instead of coordinated effort.

It must have more mining powers to join the pool then you can find new block.
the diff is higher and so the finding new block is slower but mining CPU is limited.

we are actually finding some blocks on maxminers.
but there is definitely room for a few more people to join in.
that would be good.

Yes, I have the same problem with C-CEX exchange. I sent some zxc coins to C-CEX exchange on December 10th, 2016 but I did not receive my coins. I sent a message to C-cex and then 3 days later They answered that They did not receive any my coin transferred but when I saw the blockchain https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xzc/tx.dws?60187.htm my coin was not redeemed and they used this blockchain https://zcoin.rocks/search?q=078ab4647046c52e0dc5afacc26f9d777028a68bd4bf9a1da4cccf363ded279c . So I can not see my coin in my account. That means They did not upgrade their wallet with new version (poramin version) They still use old version Ver.: 80702 and block 8205  the wallet is still in maintenance . Please tell C-CEX upgrade their wallet to poramin version . Thank you.

The new version which we will release soon will resolve the wallet loading issues. It's currently being tested on the dev branch. The first load will still be slow but after that, subsequent loads will be in minutes Thanks for your patience and we'll update it once we update it to the master.

That's interesting because I did write in to contact them via their e-mail but didn't receive a response from them. I'll try to find an alternate way to contact them again. Thanks!

We first found information about that both developers for XZC have gone their separate ways, and should split the chain with same cointicker, when we saw that, we putted XZC in maintenance to be safe, because there was no date for this written in the information we found.

After that we got information from one of the developers about an upcoming hardfork and mandatory wallet update, and got a date, we updated and re-enabled XZC for some days more until New Years Eve, when the block for the hardfork was planned to be reached, after that we putted XZC in maintenance mode again and got after that information from the other developer about an upcoming hardfork and mandatory XZC wallet update.

We have responded to XZC devs that we want some more information about this chain-split, but haven't got any answers yet.

We in Novaexchange Admin Crew will take a talk with each other how to solve this and continue follow the developement of XZC, and our target is to enable XZC again as soon as possible, when we are sure on what's happening with XZC, and be sure that transactions will work correctly and not causing a lot of support cases and lost transactions depending on multiple chains running with same ticker

I have downloaded this version and it has run well on windows 8 but it took me about 12 hours to finish sychronizing.
You should shutdown it and restart the wallet again. Let it run and do not touch the wallet, after 12 hours it's ok.
