I'm into this project, sounds like a good investment for the future. I've been looking for more privacy/community-orientated projects so this is a perfect match.
Shame it's not PoS but it'll do  Wink

A takeover always isn't easy as you first need to find capable devs who are willing to make something out of an existing protocol that they didn't build in the first place. Most of them will decide to launch their own coin or token from scratch rather than continue another guys's project.

Have anyone got that message after restarting optiminer?

"Failed to connect to devfee server! Running in slower '--nodevfee' mode. Make sure the miner can connect to all hosts and no ports are blocked by the firewall."

What shall I do, any ideas?  Huh

Can I mine with a desktop computer with this specifications? intel core i7 2.8ghz quad core, 8gb ddr4 ram, nvidia gtx 1050 4 gb vram? Or should I build a mining rig dedicated to this one? I am new to mining, I want to start with coins that just started to understand the growth of difficulty and it's profitability.

Any news about Cryptopia?
Something strange on Cryptopia, status of zerocoin (Coininfo tab) wallet showing 0 connections, but transactions are coming and display in balance.
Also from wallet balance deposit and withdraw are allowed.

Nothing to worry about if it works as it should work. I have had that with other coins but it all worked out in the end.

Cryptopia fixed wallet.

Thanks for the info, just checked and can withdraw too. Wasn't going to bother since I only bought a very small amount but withdraw fees are super low so it'd be rude not to!
Haven't even checked out the desktop wallet yet since this isn't a POS coin but guess I might as well now.

I would just sell the 1050 and get a 1080 ti if you want to start.
The new 20xx cards are coming in a couple months so getting more cards now may not be the right time. Though it is hard to get cards at all Tongue

And then you can start to learn about mining and see if it is something for you before investing too much Smiley
