Hello. Is there anyone here experiencing issues with Hitbtc?

They listed starta token as an IOU a while ago. Never opened the "real" market and they have disabled withdrawals. Hitbtc support is not helping at all.

Starta token was fully tradable for a very long time (about one and a half years). Tidex announced two weeks ago that it will be delisting Starta. Probably it has already happened and therefore you have blocked funds. The only solution is a contact with Tidex support.

Dear Starta Backers,

We found out from the open source about STA token delisting on Tidex exchange. Our team is prepping request to clarify the situation and hope to hear from Tidex asap.

Regardless of the results, we hear back from Tidex, please finalize your activities on Tidex with any assets including STA token.

Here is the note about delisting on Medium:

Kind regards,

Let's hope that Tidex will withdraw its decision. The Waves Exchange is a total disaster. Nobody trades there. So that the price does not drop to the bottom, you will have to find another exchange as soon as possible. For sure before next buy back.

and you think Tidex is any better? Grin i only came to know about Tidex exchange during my days hanging out on waves slack chat then, how many people is aware of any exchange called tidex or trading there? only the waves community patronizes tidex occasionally, i think sta is better off in wavesdex and other exchange than been on tidex Roll Eyes but it's up to the team to decide what is best for sta eventually.
still very funny though to know Tidex even consider delisting a token when they have no trade volume Grin Cheesy

For me, much more user friendly is Tidex than Waves exchange. Honestly, I have no idea what other exchanges support tokens based on the Waves platform, because STA is the only token like this I have. For me it would be the most convenient for Tidex to change his decision.

High valuation has nothing to do with the quality of the project. Every good project has been down and sideways for a long time before the public found them.
Hmm: I agree with you, IWill hold on

That wasn't a financial advice Smiley. Just stating what i have seen. Not every chart rises, some projects die too after going down and sideways.

Good projects should have good prices, STAs should have higher valuations, and only more active exchanges can make prices even higher.

嗨 Team: It is time to consider letting STA tokens be listed on more exchanges, with higher prices, which is the best promotion marketing for team projects. It has more people's attention. The trading market is willing to accept

You mean they will decide to delist sta token without letting sta team know about it Grin  how many people even trade in Tidex in the first place Roll Eyes now is time to consider other exchange as pointed above, sta deserves to be in one or two exchange beside wavesdex or Tidex, about time to move away and solicit for more exchange with decent volume.

By back is always a good approach to curtail the situation of price dump in my opinion, even though this seem like a long time coming for some, it will definitely help in stabilizing the price of sta tokens once the startup are able to succeed wish i hope they will, it's left for startups to make good progress in developing their project. With less sta in circulation and successful startups, Shocked = Hodl

Hi, my friends, I set it at Sta/ $30Sell my tokens, it might be worth Sta/$500Sta/this may take longer
Most shilling post, visable acent with broken english. You set shit, don't listen to posts like this.
I did set up a $30 bill because I thought it was worth it, and you could sell your token for less than $1, but you didn't have to attack me.

Calm down guys.
Even if @xiangbobotadie is only speculating, he have right to do that.

Anyway, it is good to explain (to those who don't get it), that success of this project does not depend on the price at which the buyback will be made, but from development of startups that are in Starta portfolio. I will try to explain it to you, in two lessons.

Lesson first:

The most imortant is that after each buyback tokens are burned.
Lets take as an example that in buyback #4 will be $100k

Situation 1 when the price is $0.50
100000/0.5=200k tokens - this amount is burned

Situation 2 when the price is $2
100000/2=50k tokens - this amount is burned

So which price is better for buyback? When total supply decreses more, or when price is going up?

Answer to this question is your homework for weekend my friends Wink

Lol! a very fine basic mathematical illustration of the whole buyback scenario you have presented to us, but in this case it boils down to what the investors are more interested in i suppose, now with the above explanation,

situation 1, at $0.5/ 200k tokens will be bought back and get burnt forever and out of the circulating supply, which bring supply to be less and probably can trigger price a bit,

situation 2, well sellers can sell at $2/ only 50k tokens will be bought back and circulating supply will only reduce a bit, but what is more important to investors? low circulating supply at 0.5 or not so low circulating supply at $2? Wink
which would you go for?

Actually only you came with some answer here. Smiley Sorry, for delay, but I decided to wait to the end of buyback #3.

Earlier, I wanted to answer that it does not matter at what price the tokens will be bought back, because it really depends on the success of startups supported by the Starta accelerator. However, if we want to earn big money on STA, it is definitely better if at this stage the buyback will be held at the lowest possible price. Simply, the more tokens is collected and burned now, the faster their price will rise in the future. In other words, tokens will stay only in hands of real believers and they will not sell them for $1 or $5.. i belive it can be even $50 or more..  Roll Eyes  Cool

Dear Starta backers,

We would like to draw your attention to the information about the completion of the buyback # 3 program.

The total number of purchased STA tokens was 179 483.25, which is 100% aimed at buying back funds. These tokens were successfully burned, which is confirmed by data on the total supply from open sources.

Yours faithfully,

The Cross Coin Team

Thank you for update! Congratulations on your next successful buyback! We all wait for more!  Cool

Can someone fill me in on the details of this buyback? I havent really been paying attention since the ICO and I have no idea what this buyback is all about.

Just like the the word says "buyback" simply means the starta team has initiated a buyback process, they buyback sta tokens at a certain price from the exchange and burn it to reduce the total supply of sta tokens in circulation and evidently can increase the price of sta in the long run,
Less supply - increase demand - increase price, this is the whole idea of buyback, hope this helps your understanding.

Thanks D1jay. Are the terms of the buyback posted somewhere? I agree that burning STA tokens should raise the price so i am trying to determineif it make sense to sell tokens during the buyback or hold them for a later date when there is less supply. So is there a time period for the buyback? And what exchange does this happen on?

Thanks.

Well this link https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.48790840 contains the official message of the buyback program and other information that may interest you, the buyback process is done on wavesdex and tidex exchange i believe those are the exchange sta is currently trading,
i think sta buyback is already underway judging from post date, so you might want to consider hodl to sell much later as the buyback don't have much effect on price presently.
