While I agree HIRO looks and sounds much nicer then HIC, isn't it Hawaicoin that's going to have a problem since HIC already exists and is trading on multiple exchanges ?

I really like the Hirocoin design, Godzilla playing with his toy airplane that probably has terrified people in it.

Seeing what other people can come up with is good for promotion, however. Maybe we'll be suprised and find something totally awesome.

Personally I love it. It's more fun than a sleek shiny "retro" or "modern" coin design. Why do people love doge so much? Because it has a funny dog on it at least that's one of the reasons. Yes, lets change the logo on Doge to a more professional looking perfectly realistic and accurate 3 dimensional rendering of a boring normal dog because that's more professional.

Why don't we add some lens flares and add a bump map and some specular shine to it and make it rotate too? I really think the icon right now is one of the reasons people are drawn to this coin.

There's a lot of people I'm sure who say "South Park" could look a lot more professional too but that doesn't stop it from making millions of dollars.

Awww... I like Godzilla, he's just playing with planes and wants to have fun. Perhaps a more serious one is required, if you have some design skills let me know and we can work on a replacement logo. We should run a proper promotion but feel free to submit designs to me.
