Ok guys, please don't hate on me, I have been reading this thread from day 1, and have finally found the time to try and set up my SYNC wallet.

I have read EVERY post on "How-to" set up the wallet, I have tried on Mac, PC (regular wallet and flavoured wallet), and no matter what I get stuck at block 8234...

I have inserted the Sync.conf file during every attempt, inserted the bootstrap during every attempt, still no luck...

I have over 10 SYNC and would really like to take advantage of the 100% interest stake/year.

If someone is willing to help me out, I will be more than happy to send that individual 0.01 SYNC.

backup wallet.dat
DO NOT LOSE WALLET.DAT!!!!
close wallet
Delete everything from appdata/roaming/sync
open wallet
wait for it to catch up... if it gets stuck, close and reopen
when caught up, close wallet
copy saved wallet.dat into roaming/sync
reopen wallet

forget conf file for now

... and do all that every time when wallet is out of sync, once wallet start staking it will again be out of sync so you can start all over again ...
or you better sell all before you can get something for your coins, or just wait for V2 wallet maybe will be much nicer then this FLAVOURED one and maybe that one will be able to sync, or... maybe it comes out once when loljosh finish all prepaid and ordered shit coins.

You might wanna hang on to that because "Coins less than 0.3 syncs won't get stake at all" No idea what your holding tho, so maybe it doesn't matter.

I'd say there are more working wallets than not. People will make noise if they can't get it to work, but if it's working most people don't need to talk about it. Even at its peak, there weren't that many people with problems.

If stupid ppls dump this coin @ like 0.12 for a little btc, they will not be able to buy it back. This coin is rare.

There is someone playing real hard with the market. Selling coin to themselves in order to buy cheap.

I think the drama-queens are the biggest problem we have at the moment

I will be first to apologize if by my stupidity or something I caused that my wallet not sync, I have many wallets working fine, staking fine, but not this one, no, and as I said I have 12 coins not much, but more than many so I would like to se wallet works, and price to the MOON.

I was gone didn't follow..that's sad..

I was on some other things for few days also, then came and checked and bumped on this wallet staking issue, I mean dev can work whatever he wants but he must fix this thing cause right now this is not POS coin, and without wallet sync it's by all means dead coin. I have some 12 coin (1.3 in wallet and 11 on mint so 1,2% of all coins) and I would like to see this work but I don't realy know if dev doesnt want or doesnt know to fix this or he is waiting for some extra money to deliver fix for this. I heard many good things about dev but there was also other stories and if he don't fix this soon SYNC will mark him as not competent enough to deliver working product.

Did you try just doing a clean install without all the other bullshit, that worked for me. I now have three wallets going and they all work fine. Just do a clean install open and close when it gets stuck. I added the .conf after everything was already synced to get more connections. I also found that I got more connections if i only used the nodes the dev posted in the op and not the long list of nodes, i think some of them are not good nodes.

Finally got it synced!!

Do you mind pasting your .conf file here, I added the one from the OP, but still have under 10 connections...
