I mean, its an interesting idea, and I would like to belive that this coin has potential,
but there was clearly some manipulation going on yesterday.
Its just kind of scary to buy into a coin at the end of a dump since you don't really know where the true bottom is.

there is manipulation of every coin - no epiphany there.

the true bottom for any coin on poloniex right now(assuming the coin has no other value, which im not saying is the case here) is the cost of cornering the market in question for the biggest investor actively trying to do so. Im not sure how many 1CR are on poloniex but it must be less than the total market cap which only a week ago was around 80,000 usd. Taking into account the fact that not all holders will be actively trading and some will hold out for much higher prices, the bottom is probably close to where it was a few days ago, and with the added attention it's likely significantly higher now, although probably still below current prices

the key words are "on poloniex right now" which has two parts, being listed on poloniex (i.e. not delisted) and in the current trading environment (trader sophistication, size, information, preferences)

there is definitely a lot of risk in 1CR, which is not inherently bad as anyone buying a few weeks ago learned over the past few days

I'm holding the ones i have left and will follow the developments. It would be nice to hear from some miners or people who are interested in developing though on some of the mining issues and ways to address them

I wouldn't suggest that proof of stake would necessarily be better but it would certainly be more functional than the current situation as well as encouraging people to run fully synced wallets and hold their coins off exchange to stake.

Time to scoop-up cheap 1CR -
Likely to not see it this low again.

Quick reminder why 1CR is better than 99.99% of all coins including Bitcoin -

+60 % seems a bit crazy for a currency that has no devs and neverending inflation to me.

I agree. This is just a pump imho.

I was able to get in early and sold it at around 0,011, but i have no courage to rebuy it again at this price considering the BTC price from last night

I'm glad to see 1CR increasing in value on Poloniex.  However, the price is completely artificial because Poloniex has had its deposits and withdrawals for 1CR disabled for a while now.  People are just trading 1CR on paper.  Does anyone know if Poloniex will fix the wallet?

I've seen this question asked on the poloniex trollbox and the mod in question at the time (completely forget which) gave a canned response that withdrawals were usually disabled on coins when there was wallet maintainance... to which the person asking the question did not inquire whether that was specifically the case with 1CR.

I have also been watching this and 1CR over the past few weeks and had assumed that the reason withdrawals are disabled could have something to do with the security of actually allowing withdrawals to take place safely as an exchange. 1CR mining has been very rocky for as long as I've been watching it except for a few normal periods where difficulty seemed to be legitimately increasing. This is interspersed with big miners coming in and pushing up the difficulty after solving many blocks quickly... even back at sub 100k market cap.. for reasons unknown but seemingly not driven by transactional profit in any large amount so far. If there are more real miners this will get more expensive to do, although the path to being a sustainable independent scrypt coin (in a litecoin merge mining world) immune from these type of problems is not known to me. I have not done the calculation on the cost of a 51% attack and definitely do not fully understand the implications of one or how easy one is to do, but could poloniex have some concern about their perceived liability if the people doing this were watching the wallet status on poloniex to strike when big withdrawals happened?

Any input from someone who knows the scrypt mining situation would be helpful.

this is insanely overvalued, imho. smells like a pump to me  Roll Eyes
Good news is I sold some so I have more funds to spend on hiring a dev if needed.

You mean deeply undervalued (like Mariana Trench deep).
1Credit won't need your money, they have three people working now and just hired a game programmer -
although, the funnest game 1CR is providing, is trading it - three exchanges now. With less than 60,000 coins, 1CR will create loads of volatility on its way up to $1000.00 per coin, then $5000.00 and so on.

1CR is going Stratospheric . . then into the Supernatural Corridors of the Cryptoverse.

Mystery product shall be unveiled around 39 hours from now and first game unleashed in two weeks -

1CR is now a Cult-Cryptocoin Phenomenon - even if the game/tech is only marginal.
The fact that there are less than 60,000 coins is making it soar to Alpha Centauri. Is it possible 1CR could soar past $1000.00 USD?
Yes, it's possible.
Is it likely?
Methinks so.

Just updated on CoinMarketCap -
59,115 1CR Now Available.

Continues to soar -
Currently up 167%

I'm working really hard to find game developers who can partner with 1CR, I've already found one! They will help us build the games (or gaming platform) that will hold 1CR.

I'm talking to a team of website designers (website design is their job, whereas it's just my hobby), and I may get them set up to provide the website for us. They'll be able to provide a website that will rival that of big gaming corporations and help provide our users and adopters with a great place to spend/use/earn 1CR.

Sunday, there will be another release. This is something I've been working on with a team member for a while now, and we're excited to unveil it.
is this also the reason why the price is so high i'm just looking on it from polo and wondering how the coin keep getting support are you the one whos behind the pump or it is really the project that you are working right now who's getting some attention i think if you still have something to show after that new project the price will still going up. good luck dev.
