The price has stabilized. Good work, community! Show them that this coin is special, because it has a real community and will not give itself to some cheap ass provocations, aimed to cause panic sell.

If I knew you, I would buy you all a beer, but hey, I cannot, that's the bad side of the net, I don't know you.

hey dude, the price now stabilized at zero. You were right about the coin being special, this one was really unique, biggest scam ever!

ok, thank you for your answers.

I now understand what happened.

Just my opinion: I have seen several 51% attacks in other coins, which finally survived.
The 51%-attack isn't the problem if the developers create a checkpoint and handle it appropriate.
And exchanges even re-enabled such coin for trade afterwards.

But the huge premine is a new problem never seen in any other coin, as much as I can remember.
The survival of AC depends on whether the devs can handle these premined coins in a approriate manner ....
We will see what the announced AC ver2 will bring to us ....

wait for version AC version 2

its already there

Good idea and mainly to control any new coins releasing this committee should check the coins devs/IPO's etc which will reduce scam coins

the altcoins community should form a committee to vet all the new altcoins

Thats a very good idea, how about HOC ? or something similar ..
Good idea indeed. +1

Some guy  discovered a potential scam here and advertise it to whole world instead of disclosing or discussing it with dedicated and experienced members of the community ,inadvertently attracted millions of trolls to badmouth and spread fud and literally bring AC and millions of investment on the verge of death.

Oh now you're blaming the people who discovered this scam instead of blaming developer ? He help us cut huge potential loss. Just imagine if dev decided to dump all the remaining of his premine, the price should be 1 satoshi now.

What kind of asshole you are ?

First behave yourself.

Second, I am not blaming discovery of potential fraud, but the way it has been handled.Better option could have been the community takeover.

You are wrong about Whitecoin, its situation was much better than Asiacoin now. whitecoin premine is small and the currency can move on without considering that premine. Now look at 3 billion premined AC, compared with 140 million coins in circulation, you just can't rebuild everything as Whitecoin did. The only solution for Asiacoin is letting it die.

that dev was telling about 6 Billion premine

60 billion actually.

Have a bad news for all holders of asiacoin

After the incident with shacoin https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annshashacoin2-dead-revival-virtual-physical-coin-faucet-512808 , where dev made 600 millions coin  hidden premine.
I'm check the first block asiacoin through official block crawler.
I'm decoded HEX data in this transaction: transaction id d7a3477eab372c40b122c8f4e0c77f4bc36e353f4cd749d205b6e028e4f10b80
and found 3240000100 hidden coins, which not showing in system.
You can check it by HEX data in first block http://theasiacoin.com/explorer/index.php?transaction=d7a3477eab372c40b122c8f4e0c77f4bc36e353f4cd749d205b6e028e4f10b80

How is this possible to hide coins from the system without altering the source code of the wallet?

Hmm i just checked it out myself and the info checks out. There are 3.24 billion extra 'credits' in there.

This would make the 'excess' coins seen in the newest block explorer correct as well.

Now is a good time for the Dev to come explain whats going on here.

Another f. new hero try to warn us.

Im sorry, you were saying?

The only promising 100% PoS coin next to BC is CinniCoin.  BC has already reached high value.  Cinni is just getting started... and will be the next coin to moon as BC did.

Are you on the Cinni train?

I am.

The whole situation has been handled like a disaster. Watch how Moganzo salvaged the Whitecoin fiasco. Developers ran away with the premined ,Blockchain was under attack. He took charge and made a community of coders, won the confidence of the wc community and saved the coin from the brink of disaster even he took some support from reluctant Developer.

But if nothing was said people could have still profited maliciously. This is just sad.

The dev is a quack.....I'd be very careful with any V2

I've lost some BTCs but I think sometimes it's better to let it die than to forcefully keep it alive. There are better coins.
