Great job YoBit,

I wish you all the luck in the world with your exchange and I think i can speak for the community when stating our gratitude for adding AeroME (AM) to your exchange!

Then WTF are these expenses you are talking about?

I agree access to server Enterprise grade server resources have become much cheaper since the cloud/big data revolutions.

in response to WTF are these costs i speak about.. in a word. "hummm..." (if that's a word. lol)
Simplistically speaking your right for a straight up typical Web 2.0 app shared provisioned resources will suffice, however this is A) not your typical project B) this is not the typical market sector for the requirements to meet the needs of a Web 2.0 App web presence.

We are dealing in financials, which bring about many, many concerns. principally Security concerns, legislative data protection concerns, geographical jurisdiction concerns based on where the content is housed the status of cryptos means at any time laws can be amended changed and created. which means for a startup of this nature requires, scalable, robust, flexible, multi-homed provisioned servers based in crypto-friendly "data-centers"

Its not all about your I/O per month or the number of vCores in use or number of AWS instances you  "spin up" nor, is it only about your max Burstable rate your package supports or Data TX per month

Have you priced up an "extended" wildcard ssl cert these days with the correct guaranteed cover for protected assets? then come back to me with the same question.

But, again keeping it simple and all.. most of testing has been done on my intranet. The staging servers were provided cost free by a close friend on his internal core systems which has helped tremendously to keep costs down to minimum.

Now, for the portions of network which I am unable to acquire "cost free" to be kept flexible enough whilst at the same time keeping redundancy considerations in mind and without overly leveraging the the vast sway of the SaaS offerings which have sprung up over recent years such as cloudFlare CDN, etc fail-over & Private DNS systems (which cost) is one such example where professional reputable providers bridge this gap. "shared" VPS will only take you so far before falling short of legal data storage issues, to name a few.

Corner cutting is not a good idea and much prefer to pay for a "professional" solution which protects the project and the project operators, which is also fit for purpose and also suitable for my requirements.
These are just a fraction of the considerations which must be meet and which I am working on now.

Consider SLA's.. is a SLA with a real-time response time or a SLA with a 1hr/2hrs/6hrs/12hrs/24hrs/48hrs response time the same price? a lot can happen in cryptos in 10 mins. Theses are the types of offerings made by professional providers. Yes, AWS offers this kind of things as do many others in the space, however its the personal touch offered by niche providers who can put together bespoke packages which I have had the best experience with in the past.

With all that said and done, I am always open to suggestions and am always eager to learn more. If you have some ideas on how to solve some of the issues mentioned above and others which i may not have yet thought about feel free to share here or in slack.

Complete Transparency

Regarding The AeroME Community fund: complete transparency shall be meet when i get a moment free, All the figures and pertinent information shall be made public. ASAP
Regarding the total swaps (including the manual processed by myself) Again, these figures will all be made available ASAP..
complete transparency!!

This is your fund (the community's fund) for side projects promotions or whatever you decide. Make a proposal on your ideas to further the AeroME project, then reach a consensus to access the fund.

Regards,

Majika

Is there a block explorer up yet?

Also have the addresses for the dev portion and community fund been made public?

Used to be.5 btc to make BE from venders
since BTC drop so much now they are asking .7 BTC to make block explorer

we have to raise some funds to pay for block explorer or someone that knows how to make one perhaps do one for AM Smiley

also why people still have aero on crypsy?
don't they realize swap is done and they are now holding dead coins?

Professional servers,  Enterprise hosting infrastructure doesn't come cheap (not for my/our requirements anyway!) and is paid on a per monthly basis however economy of scales means paying bi-annually makes for the best cost Vs. return on the packages..

So, based on that info I think that you can work out a rough time line from that statement alone. If i thought it was months away I would have waited another month (or longer) before paying for the service rental.
--We are so very close and now that I have the majority of manual coin swaps done I can focus on getting this project deployed.!

Dev,

Hopefully my statement does not sound dramatic or offending.

1) Terms like Professional servers and Enterprise hosting infrastructure are not the same as they used to be 10 years ago. You don't need dedicated server for 1K in USD per month. You don't need to pay for hosting time but for hosting resources like CPU, RAM, IO, etc. Some instances, like the AWS micro, are free for the first year. Others are cheaper than a box of cigarettes. It's more or less "resource-based" economy with regard to the cloud hosting. But you most probably know this better than me.

2) Currently you are developing in testing / staging mode, right? This environment does not require special resources unless you are competing with NASA. The env that requires resources is the production one, but that's not the case.

Then WTF are these expenses you are talking about?

This is about as cheap as you can get for dedicated servers... http://www.soyoustart.com/us/essential-servers/ - server operating costs are cheaper than they used to be, but far from free Smiley
Cheap VPS servers are good for low load websites and apps, thats about it.
You get what you pay for that is for sure!

Hello

I can be a new investor, but I have few questions.

How many coins are out there?  7M is writen in the OP. But it is old info, right?
I saw some coinswap. Dev has 600k, right? So there is some premine, right?
What about that swap thing? How many coins were swaped and how many were not? (what about uswaped coins, were they destroyed?)
Is there any progress on development?

This is big questionmark from my point of view.
C´mon, bring some transparency. It is not so hard.

And he should give a legitimate update on progress this week...This project is 100% based on the dev. We all trust him, but I know that isnt exactly appealing to new investors. Were all waiting on the release, and if it does happen then I really believe that were in for quite a ride with the price. Im a long term holder since the beginning, and ive put my effort and faith into Aero, because I think it has potential...but im not going to try to sell you. Its always a gamble with alt coins.

+1

I think the ANN needs to be updated, maybe a new thread even. I believe KL (an active aero holder) made some good progress on that to help. Lots of marketing steps like that will require fleshed out details and specifics of the upcoming platform release. Majika (the dev) has kept that intel incredibly close to his chest (and for good reason, we've already seen other coins copy the Aero whitepaper to sell the idea in an IPO). Issue is, that makes it hard to do and marketing / marketing prep. The second Majika releases something we can go all out on marketing the coin and make it extremely appealing. Honestly, if Majika does pull through, this could be looked back on as one of the better times to grab some coins.
