Soon we will have a new wallet like Solaris.

The main problem I have is Yobit. They will not cooperate in any way, let alone a brand new wallet with swap. I think we will have to accept that Yobit does not work with us and leave them behind on the old chain.

Does anyone have a suggestion about the Yobit problem?
-------------------------

Thanks Kees for the update.  I was wondering how to solve the Yobit problem. My best guess is that Yobit holds 31 million AMS coins. The second address on the rich list:
ASP2X9GLEEvQJx4McNAyYt9qhtuTNzfm6A (31185741.08494085 AMS)
I think it would be a big loss if we have to write of our coins on Yobit so I propose we find a solution.
The first thing we can do is post how much coins we have in our Yobit wallet, then we have a better sense on how many coins there are.

The second option is that everyone make’s a screenshot from their Yobit wallet en sends it to one person who will be responsible for making an overview of all Yobit wallets. We then can refund all people after  the swap.

The third option I came across is that 1 person put a buy order on yobit at 5 sat. then buys all AMS coins on Yobit. After the swap that one person who bought all AMS coins on Yobit will be refunded by Kees with new coins. Everyone can then buy back their coins at TXbit.io

Please share you’re idea’s

I have a total of 4,3 Million AMS coins on Yobit in two wallets.

Ya they i think over the years just took on way too many coins, as they seem to struggle to maintain them : / all we can prob do there is leave it and fork off or something
You should put in at one of the new exchanges theres SO many nowadays, maybe that unnamed.exchange?
All the really top exchanges died/got hacked/are expensive, its crazy now, but theres some smaller ones coming up, crex24 maybe?

I use CREX24 quite a bit.  Trade min is low & moving coins out from the exchange is reasonable.  Please note I have no vested interest in the exchange, just seconded the quoted above.

Here is a post I'm spreading around.  I think it's important:   It's really a miracle.  All the great higher percentage staking coins have each found exchanges to be on after the demise of Cryptopia, Coinexchange, Novaexchange and Tradesatoshi.   CompoundCoin, VersionCoin, TruckCoin, InflationCoin, Bottlecaps, Stackbit, InflationCoin, BitcoinTalkCoin, Stackbit, etc.  I think TALK coin is the only one that is only on Yobit.

Other coins have found new homes also.  Support those exchanges.

OK guys, I'm glad that you are so positive about AMS future and dev activity but where are you buy orders?
Nobody wanna buy my 0.5 million coins Sad
AMS market cap is tiny now but without exchanges it doesn't matter and everybody knows that.

Just have a look at the chart. 3 years history, several p&d with good volume and only yobit with closed wallets left now.
Some people made very good money distributing their coins in 2016-18 and didn't bother later to list AMS on any decent exchanges such as hitbtc/kucoin/crex...

You are forgetting that AMS is listed on txbit exchange, you can try and sell your AMS on there.

I do agree that Kees should be more active here and even update the community on what's going on as he has been silent for a while now however I have seen him around in the Solaris Discord so that's how I know he is still around and working on Solaris code base switch. Like I said once that is complete, hopefully then we get an update from him on here.

Its a shame that the AMS price has been crushed because of CE closing down. People are panic selling almost all coins on CE that only have CE as an exchange however as someone else here mentioned, AMS is listed on txbit however as txbit is only a new exchange not many know about it. That is why its important to keep the community updated on all social networks.

Panic selling? People just trying to save at least tiny amount of their investments into sh*tcoins like AMS.
It had been abandoned by devs and have no exchanges left (on Yobit the wallets are closed).
The scammers dumped their bags long time ago and didn't even bother to pay Yobit the fee to update the AMS wallet.  Angry

So what is the point of keeping the coin which goes to oblivion?

Do not talk nonsense !

Kes has not abandoned his project and when it comes to Yobit, despite the desire to pay, they still do not open their wallets - this applies to many projects.
They just have no coins, just numbers.

Kees tried several times to help fix the Yobit wallet but the guys over at Yobit don't seem to care at all. We have seen this happen to many coins in the past and it continues to happen. Kees is currently helping working on the Solaris code base switch and once it is complete we should see him return here to update AMS which I believe will also go down the same path as Solaris with their wallet.
many people's trust in him certainly will not fade away, we know they have had a considerable influence
problems such problems can actually make people misunderstand, either think of not caring about it all or find out what really happened

Coinexchange.io is Closing Down
01/10/2019
It is with great regret that we must inform the community that the board of directors of CoinExchange.io has decided to close down the exchange.

This is purely a business decision and there has not been a security breach or any other type of incident. Unfortunately it is no longer economically viable for us to continue offering market services. The costs of providing the required level of security and support now outweigh our earnings.

Trading and deposits will be suspended on the 15th of October 2019. Please cease any deposit and trade activity as soon as possible.

The website and withdrawals will remain operational until the 1st of December 2019. We ask that you please remove all funds by this date.

It has been a fantastic journey and we have enjoyed playing a part in the crypto currency space. We thank everyone that has traded or listed a currency with us.

So sadly it is goodbye for now however we may return in the future if market conditions change.

So sad, it will crush AMS price even more since so few people know about txbit exchange. Btw, thank you for this new I have some coins in CoinEchange.io and now I will to withdraw them.

AMS is alive and so is the dev as he is working on Solaris right now and once the code base for Solaris is complete we should then start to see some work being done on AMS. Its good to see the community is still here, well a few of us are still around lol.

it would be better if Kees once in a while shows his face here ... it will attract more people ( i think)

For projects that have been running for a long time and still exist until now I think it is not necessary because this way there are many people here who believe that this is a good project even though there are few obstacles but it doesn't change anything and this is a long-term project with quite a lot of devotees
