From what I understand AMS will switch code base once Solaris has switched to Stratis code base and if all goes well, then AMS will most likely be doing the same so I guess that is why there isn't much going on in here right now and that the dev is most likely busy working on the Solaris switch to the Stratis code base.
Solaris team announced that they nearly finished their work for the switch of codebase; they need to finish the rest part and test carefully before officially release upgrade and make the switch. They planned to finish it in last week's of September, not too far from today. So I hope Amsterdam will make its switch before the end of 2019.Will Amsterdam coin have swap like Solaris, to support the switch of codebase? If yes, it will be automatic swapped if people store their money on exchanges, or they will withdraw their coins from exchanges to wallets and switch manually?

From what I have heard Kees is waiting to see what the Solaris community decide on the switch to Strat code base. If all goes well then AMS will also be switching to this code base which will open up more doors for developments as the PIVX code is having a lot of problems over the past 6 months so I think the switch is for the best for Solaris and also AMS.

I was coming here to ask about this zerocoin exploit as I saw one of the PIVX devs post this in a few discord servers that use this feature. Its good to know that AMS wasn't exploited by this issue. Hopefully they have a wallet fix soon for this, thanks for the update Kees.
@keesdewit always contributes amazing technical supports, upgrades for Amsterdam coin project.Since 2017, when I known crypto, the forum, and the project, has has been here to support anyone need help.

We have put zAMS (zerocoin) into maintenance mode due to a newly reported exploit found by the Pivx team.
We can confirm that AmsterdamCoin was not exploited during this time. zAMS will be re-enabled when a wallet update is released.

The Amsterdam team can make a quick investigation on these two exchanges, to see whether they are relevant for current phase of Amsterdam project or not.
If they are suitable (in aspect of listing fees), listing request should be sent ASAP.

I used to have some of these coins. I came back to see what's going on. Why is the trading volume absolutely zero? No interest or yobit is again not letting people to deposit/withdraw?
I was considering to buy some to start a MN which is as cheap as $30 at the moment. Which is too cheap for me to ignore.
I wish it had some volume. Even $500/day would suffice. But then a MN wouldn't cost $30...

Dev kess is an honest man. Any project can encounter problems, but he is still close.
The bear market will end, many altcoins will increase again.
Surely AMS will be among them.

I am not aware of it. I wasn't reading the thread for many months maybe a year. (maybe longer) If they did something like you said then it is better to stay away.
