Dear AmsterdamCoiners,

I am pleased to show you this sneak preview of our new wallet.

Login / wallet selection:

Our designer Miss Exchange is still working on all the details in the wallet. She will make sure that every detail in the wallet will have an optimal design. Currently there is more work done than the preview shows, but there are some details that need a bit polishing and so are not ready to publish to the public.

As soon as I have more to show I will check-in

a long time to update on ams and the latest news from kees, it looks like ams will continue the pivx chain with its new blockchain and wallet, or maybe a big surprise from Kees.  Huh
In my opinion

but something that keeps me thinking about ams is because my staking wallet is often on the wrong fork chain, once or twice a day

AMS will follow what Solaris has done and that is switch from PIVX to Stratis blockchain as the team can do more with the Stratis blockchain then the PIVX blockchain. It could take a while longer as it took a while before Solaris made the switch so hopefully we see the switch in the first quarter of this year.

Is the new chain still going to be %100 PoS & MN? Or will there be mining? Is the distribution over? I used to have some of these but lost them. I would like to find a way to join again because I like Amsterdam...  Cool I am not going to try to buy it because it looks like yobit is a mess.

Well if Kees follows what Solaris has done then AMS will be 100% PoS and I would also think that AMS would have cold staking.

Lets hope that 2020 will be a better year for AMS and that this project gets back to where it once was.

It is better to avoid Yobit from a distance.

We are currently working on the new wallet and blockchain. A designer is working on the look and feel of the wallet. We also have a plan for a purpose. The idea is that we open a webshop with typical Dutch products that people can buy. No weed ofcourse LOL. Only payments in AmsterdamCoin will be accepted.

it's so good news to hear from you , Kees . I'm still holding some masternodes for running and hope There are some changes to welcome a new year coming up.

I knew, Kes, that you are doing something cool for AMS backstage.  Wink

I have registered on txbit and I must say that I am very positively surprised by the interface and speed of this exchange.
Plus complete information about coins and tokens and it also supports 13 languages ...  SUPER !

Hallo, Kees.

My AMS wallet suddenly bugged.
No way that the wallet comes visible again.
It's like it messed with some of my Windows file.
Re-installing it resolves nothing. You only see it in the taskbar.
The Debug Window still works, but not the main wallet.
And the repair wallet commands repair nothing too.

Any ideas?
What do you mean by re-installing it? download a new file from the source and run it?
Have you tried deleting everything related to AMS in your AppData except your wallet.dat and install it again from the beginning?

Soon we will have a new wallet like Solaris.

The main problem I have is Yobit. They will not cooperate in any way, let alone a brand new wallet with swap. I think we will have to accept that Yobit does not work with us and leave them behind on the old chain.

Does anyone have a suggestion about the Yobit problem?
-------------------------

Thanks Kees for the update.  I was wondering how to solve the Yobit problem. My best guess is that Yobit holds 31 million AMS coins. The second address on the rich list:
ASP2X9GLEEvQJx4McNAyYt9qhtuTNzfm6A (31185741.08494085 AMS)
I think it would be a big loss if we have to write of our coins on Yobit so I propose we find a solution.
The first thing we can do is post how much coins we have in our Yobit wallet, then we have a better sense on how many coins there are.

The second option is that everyone make’s a screenshot from their Yobit wallet en sends it to one person who will be responsible for making an overview of all Yobit wallets. We then can refund all people after  the swap.

The third option I came across is that 1 person put a buy order on yobit at 5 sat. then buys all AMS coins on Yobit. After the swap that one person who bought all AMS coins on Yobit will be refunded by Kees with new coins. Everyone can then buy back their coins at TXbit.io

Please share you’re idea’s

I have a total of 4,3 Million AMS coins on Yobit in two wallets.

I finally have an idea about how we can swap the coins on Yobit.

During the swap there will be a special email address, for example: [email protected], where people can send Yobicodes to swap the AmsterdamCoin that are stucked on Yobit. This way I can send new coins to all people that hold AmsterdamCoin on Yobit.

For regular swappers we will be using the swap service on Txbit Exchange like Solaris currently does.

I lost a 669833 AMS transfer that Yobit sent and never arrived.

I created a support ticket on exchange, but they haven't solved it yet.

I lost these coins?

Kess, thanks for the info.
Can you give the time period when the Solaris wallet for AMS, will be ready and when the coins will be changed?

on Txbit exchange the kyc procedure will become mandatory, so to execute the swap it will be necessary to send the documents to the exchange?

There is no account on Txbit required to swap your coins. That also means there will be no KYC required for the swap.
