Please, tell me if my yobit funds will be recoverable after change of algorythm, or if that v 4.0 is before the fork. I anxiously await your reply.
Yobit never ever updates anything no wallets nothing. if you write a ticket they will never return your email. They have not updated the wallet for a very long time. NO

I  would throw both of them into the oven. None of them should be deemed profitable or reliable unless u are the only miner controlling 100% of the hashrate. Booty POV algo is much better as its optimized to reduce the overheat of computer parts during the process of mining.

My dream is to be a self-made billionaire
That's all we can do right now is wait. I just hope it won't be too long as most people in crypto are not patient enough to wait for updates. For me it doesn't worry me as I have seen what this dev has done for Solaris so I know we'll have a new updated wallet very soon and then hopefully that will put an end to all the problems with the wallets. Then the exchanges can update and we can start trading AMS again.
Updates might cause some issues in the network sometimes. Just follow the guideline of devs steps by steps to avoid unexpected damage to the network.
However, for the current specific case of AMS network, all we have to do is waiting for next announcement from AMS team, as vella said in his thread.

Hi guys...Could someone  provide a tutorial on setting up an AMS Master node? I'm new and I dont understand much about it...I would also like to know how many coins are needed for MN ? Thx

RIght now I think the network is offline, my wallet is not connecting to nodes so we are all waiting to see it fixed and up and running again soon. You need 100,000 for your masternode.

Hi everyone, we can expect an update for AmsterdamCoin the comming weeks. The cause of the chain splitting lies in the seesaw reward distribution algorithm. Our next update will switch off seesaw in our effort to create a stable blockchain and network. Solaris is now running very smooth with these changes and I will put all that knowledge in AmsterdamCoin as well. Finally we can have a coin that works well and is suitable for making payments. In the meanwhile Solaris also bought an Android wallet. I will also buy the same Android waller for AmsterdamCoin when we have it all stable.

can't wait for this to happen soon Wink Wink

Guys do you still need the Pool for this coin? I'd like to free some resources and I'm wondering if anyone still wants to mine AMS..

The mining stage is over and it's now PoS.

AMS need a strong comunity and working hard  dev.  like another local coin new york coin have
Businesses around the globe are currently accepting NewYorkCoin as a form of payment.

NewYorkCoin is in shops from spain to thailand

Growing community  - The development team needs to be  active and always in close contact with the community.

my wallet is no longer updated, it is stuck at 296521 blocks. It is not a network problem because I am connected to many nodes

Keesdewit, you can't do it all by yourself! You need a team!

I am investigating on the split problem. We have exact the same code as PIVX has so I do not understand why it splits and PIVX does not. My feeling says that staking is not distributed properly. In other words, we have too little stakers.

If anyone has a clue, please let me know!

Hi Mr. keesdewit

When you say we have too little stakers do you mean amount of wallet staking or amount of coins being staked? In other word is it bet for the network 1 wallet with 30000AMS or 3 wallet with 10000AMS. Oh and you say you are using PIVX code then that is a problem in it self because in my experience I always had lots of issues with pivx wallets and crashing ... that I had to quite staking PIVX was just too unstable.

Yes AMS does need a lot more promotion however at the moment the dev is working on a fix for the current wallet issues so there is no sense in promoting when there is issues with the wallet. Once it is all fixed then promotions can start and that is when I'll also start promoting AMS again as since the wallet issues and exchange issues started, I stopped promoting but once I know that everything is running smoothly again, I'll start tweeting again.
yeah, lots of forked coins (which forked from PIVX) experienced network issues after jumping into PoS. Solaris fixed their issues, so I hope that AMS will completely fix technical problems.
After problems fixed, which are your target prices with the chart?

Yes hopefully it won't be too long now before we see a new wallet release from the dev. I myself have just forked even though everything was running smoothly for weeks. I am now going to wait for the new wallet update before setting up my MN. In regards to the price its hard to say as we'll need to see what future developments the dev has in mind for the coin.

This project as I have said and will repeat again, it needs to use discord or/and telegram so that community can get involved and help other with same problems or with information! Just using bitcointalk and email is great but too old school. Discord and telegram information is on the fly not like at the momento just to get an answer takes days or never. Interact with community is promoting and the way this project is going about just is not working. Setup the platforms ASAP and community will step in to help just look around ...

Come on Mr. Keesdewit and AMS "team" take my advise, it is free!

I would like to stake but my coins are still stucking on Coinexchange, any idea when they will open market and wallet again?

No use in opening any market while the chain goes splitting. I will first try to solve that by going through all lines manually and compare them with the original PIVX code.

Hello keesdewit. How going work on Amsterdam coin? I see you made good work with Solaris, and i hope that case will be with Amsterdam too. How much work you have to do?

All the best

@keesdewit what happened??

If you read back a page or two you will have the answer to your question.  The developer is aware of the issues and is working on implementing a fix, but it will take time. Until then all we can do is wait.
if you guys let keesdewit know that I am on his thread , then it may be beneficial for AMS

I folow his work on Solaris and i think he will put his knowlege on AMS now, just we need more patience and problems will be solved...
When he finish work,Coinexchange wallet will be updated.

All the best
