BCC has gone up at least 10-15%% on all the other exchanges and up 5% on bitconnect. If I had the time I would have bought the BCC earlier before they fixed the BTC deposits and converted into BTC at bitconnect and then could have withdrawn the profit in BTC... oh well

Seems like they managed to enable the BTC withdrawel and deposit buttons around the time they stated (they were meant to do it by 6am but later changed it to 8am GMT). The addresses show up as available again (oops I forgot to rub out the address pic but nevermind, donations are welcome lol).

So seems like everything is back to normal.....look at the greed shown on this video though in the comments...people complaining about the low interest rates lately lol : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1NJlqgN61c

Hey Glenn, what about the interest %?
Was 0.06% two days ago , 0.14% yesterday and 0.00% for tomorrow ( pending ) !!
I understand they went through a lot with the glitch, but this is horrible man.... will it stay like this?

Try and relax.  We've had 0% days in the past.  It's all good.   The system was down the last couple of days.  Of course the volatility is going to be close to zero in those days.  I would be worried if it wasn't.  lol

Glenn Arcaro I want to add another 10k$ to the system but will wait until it goes over 0.80-1% first... thanks Glenn

Personally, I don't look at it like that because the rate is always fluctuating.  It's the average over 30 days or more that's important.  I don't pay too close attention to the daily fluctuations.

Anyway, that Glenn is another weird one going on about banking conspiracy theories half the time....probably trying to draw in his target audience lol

On August 26, they didn't seem to have a problem accepting bitcoin deposits: https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/000005a97313225a?page=10

And from all the transfers out of BitConnect, I've yet to uncover a single double spend via BTC leading up to the 25th, inclusive.

https://bitconnectcoin.co/roadmap

Just looking on the roadmap, I think August 2017 "Feature Building & Security Improvement" didn't turn out as planned Tongue

Got some more info for you investigators lol I withdrew some BCC to the desktop wallet from bitconnect. Received an email from them confirming the withdrawel which had a few social media accounts which must be official or related to the developers. It might be already on the site but I'll list them anyway (I won't give the twitter cos people already know that one and it was updated a couple of hours ago with some news about hardware wallets and segwit I think). I was surprised the facebook was not that well known:

https://www.facebook.com/Bitconnect.co/

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afKLsUyVAyM  (their youtube channel was linked and this is a vid from it....the comments were interesting but not sure what they were talking about)

Also they have a google: https://plus.google.com/109575005310593946672

I'll be back in a few hours after reading all the reviews: https://www.facebook.com/pg/Bitconnect.co/reviews/?ref=page_internal

Why would the officials of BitConnect link to a Facebook page catered to Cambodians?

Why not link to Stefan Årud's Facebook page with its 23.5K+ followers?: https://www.facebook.com/bitconnectworld/

"I am Stefan Årud and I approve this message."

I think the facebook page was quite recent (only saw posts from this month I think, not sure). I also noticed all the other links are on the bitconnect homepage footer except the facebook which has no link, just the facebook image. So maybe it's a new page or they disabled the link etc.

Anyway, like I said when I edited the last message, apparently this glitch has been going on for many days (overdrawing on the account). So not sure how much they lost from it but might be a lot. The person linked to this too about being able to overdraw on the 20th: https://steemit.com/bitconnect/@nandibear/the-great-bitconnect-heist-greedy-witless-birdbrained-users-at-bitconnect-overdraw-their-accounts-august-2017

they seem to have done okay so far lol )

Anyway the BTC deposits etc are meant to be working again in 10 minutes (8am GMT).  They already put the time forwards 2 hours. Someone on the announcement page said they realised they could withdraw more than they had in the account as far back as the 20th! I have a feeling a lot of people have been stealing from them as people can easily open new accounts. I don't know how much they would have lost but the coin price is holding up at the moment.

Everything is working on the site except BTC wallet...the BCH wallet is working fine I almost forget about that one (it's a tab on the BTC wallet) so there are two ways to deposit and withdraw still.  I also noticed if you click the bitcoin tab (not the dashboard wallet that is disabled) you can still click the deposit and withdraw buttons. The deposit one says no address available for deposits. The withdraw one seems to work fine so maybe there is as way to withdraw still! People could arbitrage the price if it worked. Basically the BCH wallet is a bit useless as you can only deposit and withdraw to and from BCH wallets: "However Bitconnect members will not be able to buy BitConnect coin (BCC) using BitCoin Cash (BCH) tokens at the moment."

Noticed this in the security section lol

Well bitconnect is making loads of profit and it would be quite easy to work out when they might get in trouble because their coin value would plummet and that would be the real test (if they do it properly then the lenders would be safe). That would be their real test. Actually, disabling BTC withdrawels means people can't take advantage of higher prices of their coin on their exchange by buying it on other exchanges and selling it on bitconnect (they can do but the BTC is stuck there). People would not be buying BCC on their exchange either as there is no way of getting BTC there, so basically the price is stuck at the moment... but obviously people can sell their BCC there for more BTC as the price is about 10% higher. So I'm surprised the coin hasn't gone down while they fix their BTC wallet.

Bitconnect Dashboard is down now....can log in but HTTP 500 error on the dashboard and doesn't load....other people reporting it.

Yeah it was on that youtube video I gave in the description. Seems like he's a bit of a hustler at least. Bitconnect aren't actually insolvent though but not sure most people realise that. The dashboard is working and I sent them 3BCC just before it went down to see if the deposit worked and surprisingly it was in the account as soon as the dashboard came back up. So no problems there. I've got another 10 BCC so will probably stake them in the desktop wallet. You make more money on average just holding the coins.

By the way, the speed of deposits/withdrawels are really fast compared to bitcoin... they seem to be almost instant (in fact the timestamp on bitconnect is a few seconds before livecoin lol).

OK I need your help guys, if we couldn't mine this with CPU then why the hell did you put a CPU miner on your site? my Intel 3.7GHZ CPU could only hash 5 KH/s and I get work restart every 10 seconds, you are making a joke out of people by creating this coin, tell me the truth what kind of covert software are you using that only you and your friends mine all the blocks?

Curiosity got the cat, so I had to see for myself re your CPU claim, and sure enough it's there on this page: https://bitconnect.co/bitcoin-information/21/earn-from-bitconnect-coin-mining. What else are on that recourse page, you axe?

Quote
Once you are ready to mine BitConnect Coin, then it is recommended to join a mining pool. A mining pool are a large group of users who ‘pool’ their recourses together to solve the mathematical solution (finding a block) and the rewards are distributed proportional to work sent to the pool.

Amazing on how so many brainiacs is espousing the cred of BitConnect, handing over there money like theirs no tomorrow to so some unknown person who doesn't even have a rudimentary command of the King's English in spite of supposedly residing literally down the road from the Queen of English.
