I see in the Bern blockchain that mining is in progress. But that's not from Zpool.
Is there another pool where Bern can be mined?

Scroll up a post or two and join us at pool.lanticmining.co.uk  Wink

EDIT: woot woot!

[13:48:53] Found block for lantic!
[13:48:54] Accepted 0316be47 Diff 82/0.072 BLOCK! GPU 1 at lantic

Haha, thanks - I see you there Smiley

It's looking like we have broken the Yiimp exchange code - poking around in it now but will make the payments manually before the end of the day in case we don't get the auto part jump started again.

Thanks for the help!

Anyone looking for a pool? We're using BERN as a guinea pig for some new code but with only GPU rigs to hand testing is taking a while Cheesy

Anyone with a Baikal on x14 is welcome to point to us but please make sure you set a backup pool as we've got a lot of custom bits going on in the backend and it might break or be down for periods whilst we are making changes...

Auto exchange is set on so you can use a BTC or BERN address although this is one of the bits in particular that might break - we're keeping an eye on it and will sort all payments out, they just may take a while Smiley Pool fee is 0%.

If there are any payment issues that don't look like they are being sorted out or you are missing coins then contact us at [email protected].

Pool Details:
URL: pool.lanticmining.co.uk:3933
WORKER: Your Wallet Address
PASSWORD: c=BTC or c=BERN

Thanks,

LM

(p.s. please don't try to mine any of the other algos/coins with a BTC address - those will definitely fail...)

I pointed a few GPUs at it to help you test, though I do not have a Baikal either. But I am sure we can get some blocks with or without one.  Smiley

Everything, including miners (connection, expected diff/shares) and pool stats, seems to be working perfect thus far. Thanks!

Does anyone have a list of seed nodes for BERN?

Playing with the code a bit but can't sync past 1708356 - currently 230 blocks behind the explorer...

Thanks!

108.61.191.233   westseed.bern.cash
108.76.201.244   eastseed.bern.cash
108.61.216.195
And you can use the explorer itself, 73.248.74.181

Other peers I currently am peered with:

When pool will restart?

I am working with Crysx to get the CWI pool reconciled. After that we will test mine and, if that goes as planned, a post will be made. Sorry for the inconvenience.

All seednodes, explorer, and faucet do all concur. Cryptopia is in order as well.  FYI  Smiley

I will get with Crysx and assist with the CWI pool.

Have a great week!

Given you have zero connections, you most likely are in a fork and been banned. Sorry to say, you may have to resync. Close the wallet, delete everything (files and folders) in that same mentioned directory except your walet.dat file, and then start the wallet and allow it to resync. It will require much time. A bootstrap and snapshot option exist and are available at http://bern.cash/download/

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Today I tried to re-install the wallet, having backed up my wallet.dat file ... but Windows Defender is blocking install due to detection of "Win32/Tiggre!rfn" trojan virus.  Now I get that Windows Defender does throw up false positives sometimes, but I have neither the time nor the patience, nor the technical background to sort the issue out.

So I went to look for the online wallet at Coinwallet.co ... but that website is no longer active. Uggh.

I'm just going to salt away my wallet.dat file and come look at it in a year or so. Hopefully things are better developed.

You would want to add an exception to Windows Defender, https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4028485/windows-10-add-an-exclusion-to-windows-defender-antivirus if it reports a false positive.

Sorry coinwallet.co parted ways.

Development will continue, yes.

After deleting peers.dat still getting Connection(s) refused:
...
trying connection 95.221.207.61:32020 lastseen=192.6hrs

Your wallet is trying to find past known peers. It stores a list of many. It is no surprise to not be able to find all past peers again and at the same IP address. This output is as to be expected and is very normal.

Never got any connections - had to trash & start resync. Another week down the tubes- good thing I wasn’t in any hurry. Last resync took 2 weeks only lasted 2 weeks. This wallet is as constipated as ole’ Bernie!

Update:  Now Bern-qt (on OSX10.12.6) crashes every time  - anyone like to see the crash report?
