have we decided how many coins will be required for a masternode?

The lead dev (hclivess) has stated on Twitter that the preferred collateral for the upcoming masternodes would be 10,000 Bismuth.

that is going to be expensive

thanks Gladimor!

So I finally got a working wallet on my pc, the newest version is working well for me.

Only thing now is I can't send from the web wallet because of an unknown error. I also don't know what the openfield data is and what I should put in there. Is that why I'm getting an error? What should I put in that field?

Thanks for any help.

If you send you BIS to Cryptopia, they are recieving all Deposit to the same Address, to map that Deposit to you, you get an OpenField Data Code from them.

if you send the BIS from your Wallet to another Wallet of a Friend you can  basically enter whatever you want Wink

Thanks for the context, Jade. All is good and coins been sent and received. Smiley

With the increasing adoption, Bismuth original mempool architecture started to outgrow itself. Mempool now syncs transactions individually in 4.2.1.5 to fight congestion https://github.com/hclivess/Bismuth/releases

Is there a good way  to stabilze the Nodes.Bis is going to fly to the moon,if the issue is sloved.hope bis is going to be listed by more big exchanges.
In my opinion, the unstable node is a detain to Bismuth growth in any kind way. But personally, I can accept it and you should too, we should realize this is the project is built from scratch, and the project is still on early stage. I'm sure with continuous development and good support from the community delivered with good marketing this project will be great.

As I said before bismuth listed on any big exchange, the nodes must be stable first. I hear the Bismuth will do another hardfork, and lets see how it's going.

Wall Street loves Python maybe Bismuth could get involved with a hedge fund or something all the financial institutions use python.

I am testing CPU mining on my machine and after some headache now works fine. Rewards are payed regularly. However I was not able to use the pool.bismuth.online...
Now I am testing transactions from the wallet on my machine to my account at Cyptopia. More than 10 hours passed and transaction is "Unconfirmed"...
Half an hour ago I've send some bis to my web wallet: biswallet.acc-pool.pw it is still "Unconfirmed", but 30 mins are very short time frame.

Do anyone knows the average time for a transaction to be confirmed?
Thanks!

I am attempting to CPU mine with MinerV3. This is what is showing me however I have not received rewards in 24 hours.

Found 2 CPU threads
New block to hash: a938c1d9a9e1d370be9ccb8b761ed23683c8934f8d1273be7621947b
318851.17 cycles/sec/thread, difficulty 75
New block to hash: f8bd93912810efa8b31e46c4cbf515905b69a33fe9c88ff19d023719
336198.27 cycles/sec/thread, difficulty 75
342149.3 cycles/sec/thread, difficulty 75

Is this mining correctly? IS CPU mining worth it still?

I don't think CPU mining is still worth now that the GPU miners are in on mining Bismuth.

Bismuth is the most unique coin out there. The only one that is 100% original with no copied code from other repos. It's the first of its kind Python blockchain. Also, Python is the world's fastest growing language right now. Easy to program with compared to other languages.

This is a good project along with HBN https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/hobonickels-hbn-high-fast-stake-version-20-more-secure-less-intensive-303749

There was a code release to help fix the network issues.

https://github.com/hclivess/Bismuth/releases

Finally a step forward, nice. Lets see if that will help to stabilze the Nodes.
