Could some help me with setting up CUDAMiner? I followed the link to Github and I am not sure what to do with all of those files Smiley I was wondering if there is a download like you get with CGMiner with everything compiled?

Thanks,
Chris

I am running the wallets from within their own folders and I have put those files in there but for some reason it isn't working

The config files do not go in the same folder as the wallet, their location depends on your operating system.

Code:
Operating System Default bitcoin datadir                          Typical path to configuration file
Windows         %APPDATA%\Bitcoin\                                  (XP) C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Blakebitcoin\blakebitcoin.conf
Vista, 7                 %APPDATA%\Bitcoin\                                       C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Blakebitcoin\blakebitcoin.conf
Linux                 $HOME/.blakebitcoin/                                  /home/username/.blakebitcoin/blakebitcoin.conf
Mac OSX         $HOME/Library/Application Support/Blakebitcoin/  /Users/username/Library/Application Support/Blakebitcoin/blakebitcoin.conf

The username and password fields are used for RPC, which I do not believe you will be using right away. You can change the username and password to any values you like.

Thank you sir!

getting a nice 12Gh/s on ny2 pool, good work guys!!  got cpuminer hashing but no yays! yet, is it worth cpumining it with such a big net hash rate?

cpuminer worker also not showing as active on the pool?

minerd.exe  -a blake -t 6 -s 2 -o stratum+tcp://ny2.blakecoin.com:3334 -u xxxx -p xxxx

am i doing something wrong guys?

Don't waste your power trying to cpu mine especially on the pools

only time to cpu mine is on release and then just solo mine not pools

the cpu miner is old and is not fixed for stratum and its only useful for solo anyways!

The last I checked the pool wanted shares with a difficulty of 32 or higher. It could take a CPU a long time to find such a share.

Maybe someone here can help. I am getting no Block Source Available for Photon and Blakebitcoin wallets. Blakecoin and Dirac wallets are working

Create the config files as directed in the first post for each of those coins. The location for these config files depends on your operating system.

photon.conf
Code:
listen=1
gen=0
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=localhost
rpcport=8984
port=35556
gen=0
server=1
daemon=1
listen=1
addnode=162.243.101.139
addnode=72.23.74.166
addnode=62.219.234.143
addnode=78.26.209.208
addnode=162.243.101.139
addnode=77.121.61.203
addnode=107.170.123.55
addnode=218.146.3.80:3005
addnode=107.170.78.146

blakebitcoin.conf
Code:
listen=1
gen=0
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcport=8772
server=1
daemon=1
addnode=162.243.133.80
addnode=162.243.14.130
addnode=146.185.135.24
addnode=184.171.247.23
The addnode lines will provide the wallets with some nodes to connect to.

I am running the wallets from within their own folders and I have put those files in there but for some reason it isn't working

Should I ne putting something in for username and password?

I wanted to rent some mining power in the mean time. could someone please direct me to a reliable mining rental service that I can merge mine on the blakecoin pool with. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

i have my miner pointed to the merged mining ny2 server. i still have not found a share with 700 mh/s from a 780ti in cudaminer and the server isnt registering my worker as hashing

stats are based within 3 minutes so with low hashrate unlikely to show but you should be creating shares they are only diff 32

Why Dirac will merge with Nautilus coin and not Blakecoin?

Dirac is not merged with Nautilus coin and never will due to different algo but it is planed to be pair (exchanged) with Nautilus coin, just like you can find BLC/BTC pair!

OH ok  Smiley

Blakecoin is now listed on Bittrex
https://bittrex.com/Market/?MarketName=BTC-BLC

Very good news!!

How to compile cgminer-alt?

no autogen.sh

automake -> errors, but configure script produced.
./configure -> configure: error: cannot find install-sh, install.sh, or shtool in "." "./.." "./../..

And this coin already mined for months, still no smooth bootstrap guide, even missing ADL fixes. Are you kidding me?!

Update OP, blake already in sph-miner.

not the same blake they use a different version, this is the 8 round Blake-256

you are most welcome to contribute to guides or fixes

adl fixes https://github.com/Bufius/vertminer-gpu/issues/1

So how to compile it?
