I second this for the Windows version, too - I don't need any miner to tell me what time it is. I would, however, like a running total of how long it has been mining, though. That helps me keep everyone honest (pool and miner).

Running this using systemd automatically timestamps all output so you can add an option to disable the miner's timestamp output?

I can confirm that. v4 hashrates are lower than v3 on all my 8 GPUs. At least the numbers displayed in cmd window.

Running 4 - gtx1080 and 4 - gtx1080ti cards

So what's the difference?  Why are the speeds so different between v3 and v4?

Are you using the 4.0.0 release? The newer release should be okay.

Can you paste the screenshots for task manager / top to see how the CPU cycles are used?

I think the GPU id is available in the error message. The error message looks like "Irrecoverable errors from miner in GPU 0 ..."

The Xid error I have ever seen is due to hardware errors. Can you paste the error logs here?

bminer is tested extensively under Linux and I'm not aware of Xid errors that are caused by the miner itself. However, bminer does stretch the GPU a little bit more for even more hashrate, so if you overclock the GPU you might want to tune the parameters a little bit.

Running stable without issue on Ubuntu 16.04.

Just stopped using 3.0 and swapped to 4.0.

Constantly crashes when mining on 4.0.   

Sadly, stability issues.  Miner quit after 30 minutes, another quit after about 1 hour.

I have found this to be considerably slower than DSTM.

I tested on a rig with 6 EVGA GTX 1080 FTW.  Using the exact same overclock settings I was getting 560-580 Sols on DSTM.

Nevermind, got it to work now.

Settings I used with Mining Pool Hub ( MPH ):
-uri stratum://[email protected]:port


I like the api function, nice web info.  The CPU usage is a little higher than what I would like, I'm running GTX 1070 x6.  CPU is about 55%.
Worth the 2% dev fee, I hope it gets better.

How can I get it to work with Multi Pool Hub?  I tried different combinations of settings but MPH won't show the worker's progress.  bminer itself runs without any errors.

I started using this miner and I like it. I have a big issue with it though: many times the error message does not state which GPU crashed, it just says "Unrecoverable errors" without identifying which GPU. DSTM is better in that regard, as it always states which GPU and hence allows me to fine tune overclocking in rigs with many GPUs. Could you please add clear GPU ids in the error messages to allow us to parse logs and automate other functions?

Also, with bminer I get errors that do not produce a Xid error in the kernel -- this is weird and it's the first time it happens. All other miners I used (for various coins) trigger a Xid error. It sounds like some crashes are in fact bminer's fault rather than the hardware or too much overclocking. I have no way of debugging it though being closed source.

Windows 10 Pro x64 1709, latest updatest. Drivers on some rigs - 388.13, 388.59. 388.71. I tried clean install of driver, no changes, problem is only with bminer, others are 99-100% load on gpu.
HW is different, Asus Z270p + Celeron G3930, or Gigabyte B250-HD3P+Pentium G4560 and other

May I know which versions of Windows are you using?

There are some combinations of driver versions and Windows 10 that will slow down the GPU commands. It is not happening on every configuration but I'm trying to mitigate the issue.

The Linux version does not have this problem.

I had a workaround with email for current version, what you can do is to escaped "/" + your email address,
which means change '/' to '%2F' and '@' to '%40'.
for example, to add your email [email protected]:

The situation under Linux is better for me, nvidia-smi is reporting 100% GPUs utilization. Cant test the 1070Ti under Linux will be interesting to see.
