For a while I thought the new team will be able to do the job but it seems we need much more resources that we can afford for now. Also, there is no interest in the coin as there are too many options now, so we will postpone everything regarding Bitleu and, if we will have funds to continue it, I will let you know about it here and also will post a link to new topic. Thank you very much to all who tried to join and help and I am sorry at this time we can't do it. Hope dies last!

Hi to all,
It took longer than expected but we are almost done with the new Bitleu [BTL] token. As I said, in 2014 the coin finished bad as we had no good team to develop it and continue to work on the project. I was left alone, one guy sold all his coins and another one was afraid to tel his real name, using the BTL Master generic name. I was the third person who joined the project at that time in 2014, and I did it because I liked the brand name Bit+Leu (Romanian currency) and the idea of having a cryptocurrency backed by an asset, the tree planting and reforestation business. So, in 2017 I've made again a research to try find out who is and where is this misterios BTL Master, also named Horia Cazacu...?! Finally, I found out that the guy was no other but @infonecraft member, who was at that time living in Philippines, but came back to Romania later. However, this was a shock for me, as I've spend time and resources to do something good about the project but I was deceived by these guys who did this stupidity, one stealing the coins, the other hiding his identity, and now, after trying to work again on BTL project left me again almost alone. But, in the meantime I have found a good team of developers who did a good job and recreated the BTL by using the Ethereum platform, ERC-20 protocol standard.
Now, it is almost done, but even if I spend resources to recreate it, I may not relaunch it if I do not find out here and on other places that the community want it. And I must make sure that the Bitleu token will be accepted and adopted by the community, not by some people who want 50% premine of it as it was back in 2014. At that time I wanted to change this but the others did not agree, but now the token will be decentralized and belonging to the community. As it is a new coin, only brand is kept, I will post a new topic when it is ready to go public. The good developers, my friends are still working on the token and I hope they will be done in about one or maximum two month.
when done, I will post here the new topic link, but until then, I wonder if there is still interest for a new Bitleu that will belong to the community and might be backed later with some project that the community will decide to develop. As I said, I am doing this because I don't want Bitleu brand to go nowhere, but it will be continued only if there will be an interest within crypto community. I don't want this for me, but for you, the crypto community, so, if you think it is useless now to restart a token based on ERC-20 then it will stop again, but if there is a community for developing a new cryptoproject, with a fully decentralized, permissionless token, why not.
Waiting for feedback. Your thoughts about restarting this old project is a new way are deeply appreciated.

Thank you all those who are still sustaining us! We had the first official meeting of the new Team at Westgate Bucharest Studios and important steps were made toward BTL new identity. The details will be published soon on our website. Also, because the coin will be quite different from the first version, another thread might be started here, with a link to it from this one.

I'll explain shortly what happened and why we were silent for so long time. Life is tough sometimes, the old btlmaster, who had all usernames and passwords from github and forums, left us and even disappeared! I was a bit disappointed after he left as we couldn't find a programmer to help us. Also, my partner Daniel, who was responsible of the "Mahogany Tree Project, powered by Bitleu" got divorced and had to leave soon the Philippines. So, everything went bad and we had to stop for a while.
I tried again to find the old BTL Master but it is hard to do it as he didn't reveal his real name, email or telephone... The old email he used here [email protected] is not active anymore. However, I am in touch with Testz, who seems to have the access to Github account of Bitleu now. Hope to resolve it well with him and with Github Admin and then to go on with a fork or whatever the programmers we got now in the team will decide to do.
One thing which we will replace for sure is that bad idea of 50% pre-mine; I wanted to do it in 2014 but btl master and another one did not agree at that time but now we will do it for sure.
Also, we must find a way to reward all of you who invested in Bitleu, and hope to find good way to do it. Some of you I know, but many I don't, so we would like to discuss this and find a proper way.
The new Bitleu coin will be supported by my real estate business and other sustainable projects which will be posted here and discussed with the community.

We will have all these in about 2 months as our research took longer than expected. The websites https://www.bitleu.com and https://bitleu.ro will be active in about 2
weeks. Right now is a landing page there inviting people to the first testnet.

I have bitleu in a wallet , will they matter for the new one or no?
Hi to all Bitleu old and new Friends!
I am not sure yet exacly how we will identify the Investors and "Hodlers" of old Bitleu,
but I am sure that we will reward them with new Bitleu cryptocurrency, which will be
different and updated to 2018 new technologies.
We expect to do it until June 15, 2018. The Research & Dev Team works on this new

If you need the files from the old wallet , i have the exe and the others from the folder in the app folder. It is not syncing of course! 0 connections to the network.
