It IS too much effort, because I Copy and Paste other things, then once I am on the wallet localhost site, I then have to minimize the screen, open up the document with my passphrase in it, copy it, close it, reopen the wallet localhost, and paste it in.

That is asking too much of me.
- you can type in your own password, only make sure you use symbols. Like: 5`22_T1mK_22'5

Fix the damn 1.0.2 wallet so I don't have to copy and paste in my 12 word code every time.  It is too much effort.

I want it to remember my login.

Right now, there are only full blocks found by miners, no partials as in a pool?

I've been mining for a day and a half now, have found no blocks from my 20 GB hard drive allocation.

From my open wallet file, the last line reads  2014-08-18 17:46:57 INFO: nxt.apiServerEnforcePOST = "true" .

Is this right?  Am I properly mining?

Difficulty is up pretty high as more people start mining. Considering the number of people with multiple 1-TB or 2-TB sized plots out there, I doubt you will find much with a 20gb plot.

20GB is pretty small. 1.5 TB and I'm getting maybe 1-2 block/day now.

Do i get a read error if they are overlapping ? while mining ?

No, it's because the miner reads an incomplete file while you are still generating, but it won't affect mining! For every new block, the miner will read the entire plot, so you'll see that error until you've finished the generation!

No, that error has nothing to do with overlap.

That means,I can use plot of 0 to 6000000 nounces on one pc,and plot of 6000000 to 12000000 nounces on another with seam password, but if I make two plots with 0 to 6000000 nounces and seam password on separate PC's it is only waste of space and time?

Correct  Grin
FCK!I just lost two days of generating plots if you are right...

A lot of us did. Just as a rule make sure that NONE of your plots EVER overlap. done and done.

If I've 2 separate HDD, can I plot in each one starting from position 0? Or are they overlapping?
I mean, 2 separate HDD, can overlap?
I'm using a miner for each HDD
yes, they are overlapped. use different nounces or different wallets.I tested it that before and lost one day in generating plots...

Good, it's a week that I'm wasting about 50% of my space..  Sad

And what if:

Number of nonces (1600000) is not a multiple of stagger size (8191)?

Because I'm mining and finding block, so does it affect mining?
And if I use seam nounces on two separate PC's,they will not overlapping?Or this will affect mining?

If you are working on two different wallet, with two password there is no problem, they will not overlap, but if you are using the same password on each PC for generate the plot, they will overlap!

(Correct me if I'm wrong)

I hope you're wrong, because if so, then that means I have a few overlapping...

But to me it doesn't make sense for a completely separate computer, to be able to have overlapping nonces with a completely different computer...

Is there some way to tell if one computer is overlapping another?? I guess I could just watch the miner, and if the numbers are the same and it's doing the same stuff, then I guess that would be a way to find out.

If both computers use the same key they will also produce the same results (deadline) for blocks. You are then competing with yourself - and lowering your chances.

So I was right! I'm sorry, I've wasted about 50% of my space too..!

Yea man, that sucks, over a TB has been conflicting with itself because I didn't think about different computers overlapping eachother. DANG!

> Number of nonces (1600000) is not a multiple of stagger size (8191)?

Just ignore it, its just a few MB's that are wasted.

> And if I use seam nounces on two separate PC's,they will not overlapping?Or this will affect mining?

They do overlap! You need to use seperate ranges.

You are correct. Anyway I dont get the point why everyone is trying to pack their ranges as close together as possible. You have 2^64 to choose from, and block finding changes are equal for all of them.
So why not start the next one at 10M? 1G? 10G?

Also is there anyone who is capable of forking the NXT one-click-install client : http://nxtra.org/nxt-wallet/ and porting it to Burst? I'll be handing out bounties from my stash to those who can get it working with Burst. I don't think it would be too hard, the process would be the same as the NXT client, and the one-click-install client is also open source (you can view the source code via xcode).

Just bumping this to the new page.
