Well whoever designed it did a real piss poor job if you have to compile the damn thing to get it to work!

i suppose you even have not try to flow the step by step guide totally, and complained three times, and how many hdd do you have , if not much , i suggest you can give up , because this when you finished this"dame thing" , you will find it is hard to mine a coin now, and you will blame more. why all exchanges don't add this good coin?

because its not dump & dump coin
go mine something like doge, litecoin, doom, voot, boobs, bomb, or other shitcoins if you want to dump it on 2nd week

How the hell do you get this piece of shit program to run?  I have Windows 7 64 bit on my laptop, and I have Java 7-67 installed.  I downloaded the 1.02 wallet and the miner in post #1984 on page 100.

I have installed many coin wallets in the past, and did the same with Winzip to unpack and install this one, but the shit ass design of the wallet leaves no obvious icon with which to open the wallet!

And the miner is a piece of crap also.  I used Winzip to unpack and install it also, but when clicking on any of the batch files, a mining window flashes briefly on he screen and then closes.

So how does this piece of shit work, how is anyone mining yet, and am I missing something that is needed to make it work?

And once it works, how do I set the amount of hard drive space for it to use?

well at least i wouldn't blame others for my incompetence
go back to school dude... learn something... help your momma...
from top block finders , there are almost 400 people succeed in mining this coin, nobody call it shit coin just for its complex environment setup, he even has not seen the step or try it, just blame, he is not suit for this,,

My miner was running stable for 4.5 days but now keeps turning off after running for a while. Anyone else experiencing this lately? Anyone know where the log file is located as it might tell me why it is shutting down? I would do a reboot by need to wait till my plotting is finished which looks like it needs one more day. Also, it was happening with the old and now with new wallet.

I'm not going to re-read a hundred frickin pages, at least link me a useful post or what page it's on.

Ok, fair enough.  I would appreciate some assistance to find a clear and concise post that lays out all needed instructions in a clear step by step format.  Thank you.   Roll Eyes

The dev has a direct link to how to mine in Linux and windows. How much more hand holding do you need?

Read on the OP and look at the link for windows.

Also, I made a thread on mining it to kind of clean it up, hopefully: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/proof-of-hdd-capacity-poc-mining-configdata-sharingcollaboration-740158

Well this is bullshit.  The least they could do is offer a wallet and miner that WORKS without having to be a software engineer and just somehow know what to do and how to do it to make the damn thing work!

If they are going to release a half assed half completed piece of hsit program they might as well not do it at all.

Or maybe I just forgot to do something or I don't know about something I need.

Trust me, I was frustrated at first too, I have a cert in IT Networking(Cisco). So, just read up and ask people for help. You would be cursing more if you had to write the code and compile it.

Word of advice man. If you  want to actually TRY come here with a better attitude.

Makes you wonder what the first bitcoin fudders where like.

"Oh my god I only have 10 blocks of btc" so hard to do. Must be worthless.

You only need a PhD in Informatics, thats all.   Wink

It's quite a challenge to get this working, it's true.

Offering 250K for 1 BTC. Smiley

Oi

So low. I seriously hope someone takes this away from him.
yes ,so low , we need make a formal exchange..

It's his own free will to whatever he thinks is fair to sell it. Honestly, I would rather wait for it to get on an exchange.

I 100% agree. I'm just saying it's  a crazy bargain if your looking to get some.

My offer still stands.
