ABC, I am still trying to figure out the asset thing, I did the trade and now I have 1 asset, then I just trade it on the exchange right? Cool. Be on the lookout for my next sends! Can I send you more than 1k at a time, what if I sent 8k?
- sure you can.  1K is just a minimum.

sounds good, be on the lookout, another 18k or so coming your way!

Hey man,  I sent the 18k to you quite a while back, as well as another message with my nxt ID... still haven't seen anything from your end... Let me know when this will happen. Much appreciated. Thanks!
- hi, crowetic, please see this: https://nxtblocks.info/#section/txid/9758019564923764443
- it is transfer (10 hours ago) of 17.82 1000BURST assets to your NXT account.
Now you can go to "Asset Exchange" in your Nxt wallet, and place sell order(s).

I sent burst coins, sent arbitrary message , and after one hour, i receve nothing.
Sorry i ask, but i am not sure how this actually works.  Confirmations are 10+ what does it mean ? confirmed ? So where are all my coins? i can not see them at all...
please see: https://nxtblocks.info/#section/txid/8290271727934381987

This is transfer of 1000BURST assets to your account.  Also I've sent you 5 NXT to cover the fee of sell orders.

so you have fulfilled 1] from here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.8381305

In order to sell your BURTS coins with Asset Exchange, you should:
1] Obtain 1000BURST asset for your BURST coins;
2] Place sell order with your newly 1000BURST asset at Nxt Asset Exchange (see public Nxt nodes below);
3] When somebody buy you 1000BURST asset, you'll get some NXT coins (according to your price);
4] Sell that NXT coins at https://www.cryptsy.com/ or keep them if you want.

now you should do  2], 3] and 4]

how to do 2] :
- goto your Nxt wallet
- goto Asset Exchange
- goto My Assets
- click 1000BURST on the right
- made Sell order(s)

ask question if you have.

but now i see 3 orders for buy

Account                                    Quantity    Price    Total
NXT-LKHJ-8DGS-HMBE-AL3N5           10          199   1'990
NXT-M5CR-UEFK-MEAJ-DT4AG          1           200   200
NXT-6Q74-9GCJ-46E7-7F5XJ            1           230   230

can i close 1 of them with my asset? if yes, how?
- no, those 3 orders are for sale.
The buy orders are on the right side of the screen.

You can place new sale order with your price,
or you can can place new sale order with buy order's (highest) price for immediate deal.

Yeah! First one this night. Finally lol Cheesy

#2373 was my lucky number

I got mines at 2357 after I updated the wallet. Hope there more for us coming...lol

I'm going to buy a couple more hdd's, not trying to over invest in this. Until it hits an exchange, and I'm getting a decent amount of blocks or a pool.

Yes, I did step 3 as directed and it worked.  And I have Java 7-67 on 7 Pro 64 bit.

Maybe show us, which command do you use to start the generate bat?
If there is an error in it, iwill close directly.

If a .bat file gives you an issue, put in the the end of the command line "pause".

Hey Sagre, did you finally get a block yet. I finally got one...lol

We did just add Racecoin tonight and will add a few more soon. And we also have a BleuShares market that pays users every 4 hours to hold the shares. We have a US dollar market and please Still feel free to check us out > https://bleutrade.com/home/316

 Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

Would of loved to put this coin up

That was more of Bter.com own security issues and protocols. Another exchange will eventually accept this coin.

Yes, I did step 3 as directed and it worked.  And I have Java 7-67 on 7 Pro 64 bit.

So, the run_generate.bat is running now? It will close when it's done creating the plots. Then just run the run.bat in the poc miner folder, then run the wallet in the burst wallet folder. Once all that runs fine, then you can run the miner.bat in the poc miner folder. You can check up you rwallet via web browser at local:8125 or the shortcut in the burstcoin wallet folder.

Yes, I got up to step 7 before it failed to do as the directions said it would.  When I double clicked the run_generate file it flashed a mining window briefly and closed it.

Now what?

run_generate shouldn't close until the plot creation is done.

You sure you did step 3: If using windows, replace the first word "java" in each of the .bat files with "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\java" and "save as" each of them as .bat files again.

Also, do you have the latest java install? You might need to install both 32 and 64 bit.

Go through all the steps carefully and thoroughly.

or just add the full path to the java.exe as installed on your system to the system %PATH% env variable.

He could do that, which is easy, but easier for most just to copy and paste.

Curious, what would we back up that is equivalent to wallet.dat on burstcoin java wallet? ie. burst database file, etc.....

it's the passphrase you used to generate the pubkey used in plotting.

Oh ok, so just the passphrase and account number text file.

just the passphrase as that's the privkey. the account number (series of numbers) is your pubkey derived from your privkey.

Well whoever designed it did a real piss poor job if you have to compile the damn thing to get it to work!

i suppose you even have not try to flow the step by step guide totally, and complained three times, and how many hdd do you have , if not much , i suggest you can give up , because this when you finished this"dame thing" , you will find it is hard to mine a coin now, and you will blame more. Roll Eyes

You don't have to compile anything unless you know how to tweak the java code and want to improve it somehow. If you don't have a TB or larger at the current diff, mining will be more challenging.

Like jzhoulon said, read it step by step and a little resourcefulness, you should be fine. A little due diligence and you should be fine.
